Watsons go to birmingham
What I`ve learned in my family is that a family that loves each other, cares for each other. Almost every family is like that, in the book “The Watson`s go to Birmingham 1963” by Christopher Paul Curtis you can tell that their family shows each other love, and when life gets hard and bad things happen like death they stick together . Even in the Winter when it`s below Zero degrees It`s shows how much they love and care for each other. In the “Watsons go to Birmingham 1963” it shows tons of love and care throughout the book. Like when Byron told Larry Dunn not to mess with Kenny at school because he was picking on him. “I went and stood where Byron still had the neck of Larry Dunn`s skinny little windbreaker wadded up in his fist. “Pop him” Byron said”. Even when Mr. and Mrs. Watson and Kenny helped Byron get his tongue off the car window. “Momma quick”! It`s by! He`s froze up outside”!….”help! He`s crying”! …” I gently poured a little stein of water over the mirror”.” Well that only made it worst like daddy said”…. “I’m a try to warm your face up a little. Just relax.” After that Momma got Byron’s tongue off the window but he talked like he had too many hits to the head. When Byron saved Kenny when he was drowning in the whirlpool. “Byron and the wool started juking it out. By must have hit it a hundred times in that place where its face should`ve been… Byron grabbed me and put his arm around my neck and it felt like he was trying to choke me. As soon as he got me on the shore and he turned me upside down I felt like I was going to die”!

When it got so cold in Flint, Michigan the Watson`s show care ad love for each other but not only themselves but other things too. When Mrs. Watson told Kenny and Joetta that they had to wear all the clothes and coats to school so that they don`t get Hypothermia. “Momma wouldn`t let us go out on a cold Winter day unless we were wearing a couple of T-shirts, a couple of sweaters, a couple of jackets, and a couple

Family can be defined as a group of people who have blood ties and who usually live under one roof forming a small community. The traditional concept of this would be a man and a woman who have a legal bond living under one roof with their offspring but when circumstances alter this arrangement the subsequent arrangement that arises does not make obsolete the bonds and relationships and the influence each member of that unit has on each other to form values and ethics that would contribute towards the building of communities. As such a caring and supportive family is the main building block of a community as it helps to mould individuals into positive social characters and personalities who contribute towards building a healthy community. However sometimes even though the family is caring and supportive the individual may fail to become one who contributes positively towards building a healthy community, on the other hand there may be individuals who come from dysfunctional families but are able to contribute towards the community because of other factors.…

The first keyword that pops to mind when I hear “family” is respect. Before you go somewhere, do you ever get stopped by a family member and they tell you to act right because you are about to go represent them when you leave? To me, that’s them being well-minded and telling them to respect the family name. Another keyword that goes with respect is honesty. A family that has true honesty will have unbelievable trust. Trust is one of the key things that families struggle to deal with. In a blog post on theiterim.com they listed trust as one of the key traits to having a good trait. “Having trust keeps the family bond mutual and respecting” says one the people they interviewed.…

For one thing, the most distinguished characteristics families hold is that of love. Everyone in this world needs love and affection and someone who cares for them in order to feel satisfaction. Love within a family is extremely admirable and it is also the most amazing feeling you can ever experience. Now a days a lot of families are broken and dysfunctional and tend to lack of love and that is what hits me the hardest and just makes me realize how exceptionally important it is to love your family.…

The word family conjures many different images for different individuals. When my son was younger if you asked him what a family was, he would say “mommy and me” and of course he’ll list his aunts and cousins he was familiar with. If asked if he would change our family he’ll say no…because it works for us; he’s happy with the way mommy helps him and loves him. Looking at our society today, we can see that families are very diverse. Families deal with an array of complexity, however, every family is different in the way they handle situation and certainly the way they communicate. What works for a family in one economic and cultural setting does not work for others. In observing the Mensah family and the Wright family I noticed dissimilarities in their family routine and interactions as well as some similarity in their life styles.…

First, every family should build their life on the strong foundation. What is the strong foundation for the family? The best foundation for the good family is found in the Bible. God 's plan for the family system is the best. First, we need to show appreciation every day for each other. Romans 12:10 says, "Be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another. “Second, we must express our admiration, love, and respect for our family members. Romans 13:7 says, "Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor (The Bible 1009). What is traditional family? The traditional family is made up of a father, mother and a couple of children. Anything other than this ideal is a deviation from the normalcy of values. According to this point of view, the family is a basic unit of society that serves the purposes of socializing the young, regulating sexual activity, procreation, providing physical care for family members, giving psychological support and emotional security to individuals (Baldock 1). A family is not a collection of individuals who happen to live at the same address. They are people who share an intimate and complex connection with one another, being related by marriage, birth or adoption. Together they form something larger and more significant than the contribution of one person. Two people, a man and a woman, locked together by love and lifelong relationship.…

Family where everyone loves each other, they can share joy, sadness. Even though the life can change each family member, but family where they most want to remember the most is a family. Family is a team, and each member of the family must help build their family. Members have always cared for each other. If the family has parents always love, take care and give good education for their children, the children grow up to become useful citizens of the society. Having dinner together also contribute to building solidarity among members. Families would never leaving the family members, people will come together to fix their own house, traveling together, ready to help if the members have difficulty. As in "chicken with Plums" mother ready to take all home furnishings to sell only to help her son escape from prison, because her son is the most precious in the world, there is no replaceable her son. Today, as society developed, each family member will have little chance to meet each other, they have to go to work and children to school, they met only a few short hours each day, so weekend is an opportunity for all members of the family gathered together, members will come together to cook a family meal, eating together, have fun, to build solidarity. “This is not the place where people ruthlessly compete with each other but where they work for each other.” here is a very interesting statement from the family "Thanks giving", as a group we always live for a group, all members must care for each other, a family survive because of everyone in the family loves each other, ready to help each other, as if it no longer, the family members do not need help from other people, they want to do everything alone to…

Family is valuable thing to have because we are important and need each other, a group of loyal supporters. What we think and how we feel matters to our family, because nobody cares more about us than the members of our families. At least, that's how it should be. Treating our parents, children, Spouses or siblings with care the more we will bond as a family. Our families also hold the keys to understanding and appreciating ourselves. Nobody can relate better to us then our own brothers and sisters that shared so many experiences with us. Nobody can love us more selflessly then our own mother and father who sacrificed daily for so many years to raise us. The better we get to understand our parents and siblings the better we understand ourselves as well. When we can count on each other and lean on each for everything, that’s how family will work out fine. If we walk away on family when everything is going well for us and run back when things are going wrong, then that will break apart the family.…
