Revocation. No. The gender of an emu is not discernible by mere external observation. The only certain way to tell, apart from internal examination, is to observe them in mating. Smith, upon observing both Rachel and Andrew, her two male breeders, grunting, concluded that she had two male emus and not a male and a female breeder because grunting is a male trait. Rachel may have looked like a female emu and walked like a female emu, but it did not sound like a female emu. When Smith heard the noise, she immediately notified Clark. Her notification was timely, and the problem with the bird was a material and substantial impairment because Smith had paid a high price specifically for breeders, not two male emus for pets. The basketball gym has always been an escape from reality for me. As soon as my sneakers touch the floors of the white river gym my mind goes blank and I do what I have always done and play basketball. I feel as if nothing can touch me when I’m in the gym, like nothing matters other than that very moment. Ever since I was a kid I dreamed of having the best game of my life in front of thousands of fans. And even though there is no one in the gym but me, I still act like everyone is watching. I would always go through past game ending situations I had seen Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant do and act like I was them. Walking into the gym before a basketball game is something I cannot compare to anything. When the crowd is cheering and the band is playing, and I say the final words before we run out onto the court ready to play the butterflies in my stomach go crazy. But as soon as the referee throws up the tip at the beginning of the game everything goes blank and I block all the noise and all the distractions are gone. The only thing on my mind is winning the game and doing all I can to help. I remember my sophomore year when I had my first start of my high school career against the #1 team in the state, being Clover Park. Two of our normal starter were suspended that game giving me the start. I have never been so nervous before in my life. When I got home from school I just sat in my room, listening to music until it was time for me to go back to the school to get ready for the game. I don’t even think I said one word to a single person until the game started. But like I said earlier as soon as I touched the floor and the game started everything went away and did what I do best, play basketball. In the fourth quarter we were up by 6 with only 10 seconds to go when the fate of the game seemed sealed the feeling that we made a huge upset sunk in. When the final buzzer went, the student section flooded the court and met us in center court so…

The integration activity was a learning experience. Learning simple ways to help the cause of our mother nature, and learning about the people you are with. For me, at first I only felt that it was a typical tree-planting activity. But seeing the situation the people there are in, and the thoughtfulness of the people for the help we could extend really moved me. We all have the duty to protect and preserve the world we are in, because we only borrowed it from God, who is the most powerful Creator. He created the world beautiful; He only introduced all the goodness He could give to make the world we are in a wonderful place. But what are most of the people doing? Nowadays, almost all of us don’t bother to look upon the alarming situation of our mother nature, she is steadily degrading. As for the people responsible for all the destruction? They really don’t care about the adverse effects of what they’re doing, they just think of their personal benefits. They really never have the thoughtfulness to God for bringing us the world as blessing; we can’t take away the fact that life difficulties may hinder our prior responsibilities on protecting our mother nature. But it is not reasonable to do bad things just to take away the personal difficulties, which in return could affect the lives of many, and take away the privilege of the future generation to see the beauty that God gave us. As for those who still have the concern to help the cause of our mother nature, it is quite a happy thing because there are some who sticks with the responsibilities they have. As for me, I will do my best to give the immediate and most effective way to ease the critical situation of our environment. Even just in this simple way, I could show God how thoughtful and privileged I am to live in the beautiful world he created. The integration program didn’t just bring out a sense of commitment in me, but it also helped me know about the people I am with. I’m pretty glad…
