The purpose of VR service is to assist persons with disabilities gain their independence through employment. VR service is an organized process that directs a client’s case from application to closure. The VR process consists of different phases, which are organized as status codes. Figure 1 shows the VR process and the status codes that are used to progress clients through the process.
