More effective teaching such as this will result in better students and ultimately a better society because it will embolden students to express their thoughts, and become more engaged in the learning process. In return, society will influence educational systems in a positive way by creating more effective learning environments for teachers and students. Freire’s problem-posing method is the future of education. Based on what I have researched, the IAS program seems to embrace this method, as I see a lot of freedom in the educational process of this program. I anticipate teachers treating students as equals; when teachers and students will have lots of communication between them, it will allow for equal say in the knowledge. I look forward to the interaction with teachers, who may be just as interested in hearing my thoughts as I am in hearing theirs.
