Drew Lippman is a man who wants to be the best in whatever he does. He is a very determined person, always working hard to achieve what he wants in life. Drew is currently working at the YMCA in Worcester as a customer service specialist. Drew has been working there for 5 years and enjoys his job very much. He enjoys the experiences he has had working with kids from all different backgrounds at all different ages. It is at the YMCA, that he gets to not only help kids stay out of trouble but experiences the joys of being able to put a smile on their faces. Drew usually puts in roughly 40 hours a week at work and juggles this workload while still being a fulltime college student is not always easy, but Drew feels that it will be well worth his struggles once he obtains his degree. He is currently a senior looking to finish up his bachelor’s degree this year with a major in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing from Worcester State University. Born in Utah Drew and his family moved to Worcester when he was eight years old. His family moved to Worcester because his father received a better job doing construction work. His dad was a general contractor while Drew was in his teenage to early adulthood years. Drew would go out and help his father with such jobs as, multi-family units, additions to houses, and rehabs to houses. About 3 years ago Drew’s father passed away and his death impacted Drew’s family tremendously. At first it was hard for him to get over that he had just lost one of his friends and family member, however, this tragedy has shown him that he needs to start being more of a man, and this thought has led his to find ways that he can take on more responsibility within his life. Drew’s responsibility shines through as he talks about all the ways helps his mother now that his father is not around, for instance, taking care of household duties and paying the bills.
