CM conducted a phone conference with Alison Scarpignato (CMS), Rossana McElroy (CMO Clinical Consultant), Beverley Watson (DCP&P Team Lead) and Phillip High (DCP&P worker) in regards to a follow-up on treatment recommendations for Sinai (youth). The team discussed youth recent f/f meeting at Bergen Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, 4/4/17. CM explained to the team that youth is requesting to be placed on medication in order to cope with her father. Phillip reported he have not finish reading Sinai’s evaluation, however, the recommendations are for youth to live with her mother, Tanya Austin Maccagno. Phillip will discuss this matter with the Division attorney and will keep CM updated. CMS provided Phillip with the team

    Pam is wonderful at being polite and respectful to every caller. Her main struggle is with remembering procedures and protocols. On her last call monitoring she didn't follow the new look up protocol after she was clearly told. She had to be reminded again and given examples. When she is faced with a procedure that she doesn't do everyday repetitively, she seems lost. Pam is always willing to pause her calls and ask for assistance to proceed with the call correctly.     According to Crittenden, behavior is learnt through seeing what someone else does. This can be explained further through the experiment of classical conditioning. Classical Conditioning was developed by Ivan Pavlov. Pavlov used the experiment of dogs and food so as to measure the levels of salivation that a dog produced when food had been associated with the assistant. He developed this experiment when he noticed that the dog was starting to salivate at the sight of the bowl of the food and not the taste. He decided to experiment further and he introduced a bell which was the neutral stimulus, it had no effect at the start but when he rang the bell when he brought the food to the dogs they started to associate the food (which made them salivate) with the bell. Now that classical conditioning had taken place the dogs would salivate at the sound of the bell which was now the conditioned stimulus.…

Introduction There are many ways to measure patterns of ill health; these include mortality, morbidity, health events, disease incidence, disease prevalence and health surveillance.
