Uchicago: The Ideal Learning Experience
My favorite thing I've heard about UChicago is it's the place "where fun goes to die." Not because I'm averse to amusing activity, but because I know this means that UChicago is a place of rigorous study. With the Common Core, excellent critical thinking skills are developed and students are enlightened to powerful ideas that mold our society. I have heard from current and past students, that it is not uncommon to walk by a lunch table and hear students fervently debating Durkheim and Marx. It is clear that UChicago is a place of constant intellectual stimulation filled with students with a deep passion for learning; as someone who continually seeks to broaden her mind, UChicago has the ideal learning environment for me.
