Transformational Leadership Style Interview
My interviewee follows a transformational leadership style. From my interview, I believe she has the characteristics included in this type of style. By being a mentor, she is very inspirational. She teaches what she knows and can perform herself and this in turn increases the knowledge of everyone that she works with. She increases a sense of self-worth and value to the employees by not demanding and degrading. All of her thoughts, aspects and actions provide a positive morale at the hospital, which increases loyalty and commitment (Yoder-Wise, 2015). I believe that this a very effective leadership style. I have worked with my interviewee since I started at the hospital in 2007. This woman is so amazing, I am unsure if I can even begin to tell

It seems after careful analysis of literature the research presented in this paper points to authentic leadership as being the superior leadership style and is associated with the most positive outcomes. However this style of leadership is more so suited when used in correlation with other leadership styles i.e. transactional and charismatic and differs from the other leadership styles by possessing mechanisms of multiplicity. Authentic leaders manifest themselves in different ways depending on their place in the world and the climate they are dealing with(Ms & Rita, 2011). Authentic leaders are…

I interviewed Becky Hendrix, Executive Director for Professional Care Services. I recently had the honor of interviewing someone in our community who has had more than twenty years of leadership experience in our community. The interview ended up taking much longer than I expected because I was so influenced by what she had to say, I did not want to miss anything. Mrs. Becky Hendrix started her career as a CPA back in the 80 's for the World Color Press. Her leadership abilities were quickly realized, and she was promoted to head CPA. From there she moved on to the Professional Care Service where she remained for fifteen years serving as a CPA, and finally working her way up to the Executive Director. Becky was in charge of over 187 employees. My conversation with Becky took a direction that I did not expect. She attributes her success to the leadership traits that she has learned over the years, and quoted many of the very ideas and theories almost verbatim from our class lecture. That was an incredible experience to witness firsthand how these traits become behaviors and practices.…
