‘’ HOW CLEANLINESS AND SENSE OF BEAUTY
CAN INFLUENCE
THE LIFE OF AN INDIVDUAL? ‘’

Cleanliness is the absence of dirt or undesirable substances which include bad smells, rubbish, dust, stains, muck and whatever else! It can refer to how clean an object is, how clean fabrics are, or even personal hygiene in general. Cleanliness is used in health and beauty, too. The term comes from something lacking on odour, and has an avoidance of spreading dirt contaminating others. Hence, cleanliness talks about something being clean. Sometimes you would notice due to the fact that the word ‘’clean’’ is the very basis of the word.

Cleanliness means different things to different people. For instance, when a boy is told by his mother to wash his hands and face, he may think that holding his fingers under a running faucet and wetting his lip is enough. But mother knows better. She takes him back into the bathroom and scrubs his hands and face with plenty of soap and water-despite his loud protests!

On the other hand, adults are not always good examples of cleanliness, either in everyday life or in the business world. For example, mane public places are left messy and unsightly. Some industries pollute the environment. Pollution, however, is not caused, not by faceless industries and businesses, but by people. While greed is probably the main cause of the worldwide problem of pollution and its many ill effects, part of the problem is the result of unclean personal habits.

The importance of cleanliness cannot be overemphasized when it comes to our food-whether we buy it at the market, eat it at a restaurant, or have a meal at a friend’s home. A high standard of cleanliness is expected of those handling or serving the food we eat. Dirty hands-theirs or ours-can be the cause of many sicknesses. What about hospitals-of all places, the place where we expect to find cleanliness? A journal once reported that unwashed hands among doctors and nurses may help explain why hospital patients develop infections that cost up to ten million dollars a year to cure. No one should endanger our health by their unclean habits.

It is also a serious matter when someone-deliberately or thoughtlessly-pollutes our water supplies. Cleanliness, however, is much more than outward appearance. It is an all-embracing ethic of sound living. It is also an estate of mind and heart that involves our morals and worship.

cleanliness at home:-

The most important rule to having a clean home, work space, living room, bedroom etc is to become organized. Organizing a clean home routine is essential in maintaining a good and clean home environment. We start to realize how untidy and disorganized our home becomes when there is no daily cleaning maintenance. Some of us may not have maids to keep your home constantly clean and tidy. Dirty laundry, dishes, unfinished food etc left on its own can contribute to stress, harbor bacteria, and create displeasing smells. Children can easily contribute to the home looking like a mess. Teach our children how to clean up after themselves from a young age. Later on when they have their own homes, they will appreciate how important it is to have a clean home and not to fall in the category of the domestically challenged. A rule of thumb home cleanliness is to make sure that u are done with cleaning one room before going on to the next room. Have the children make up their own bed upon awakening so it can be less work for the parents. Firstly, remove all the things that do not belong in the room and put them in a laundry basket. Now is a good chance to pick up and throw away the garbage that is found in the room. Vacuum, sweep, mop and clean the floor, table and other surfaces as necessary. Consequently, you may the first room as cleaned. Teach your spouse & children the important aspects of home cleanliness. Have them practice good hygiene & home manners. For example, do not have them bring food & eat in their rooms. It can mean one less item of unfinished food, dinner plates or food stain for you to handle. Cooperation from other people living in the same abode can make maintaining home cleanliness easier & simpler to manage.

cleanliness in public:-

Since we live in a society it is essential to follow certain rules like keeping our surroundings clean, avoiding littering in public, refraining from spitting on the road, and many more. Litter on roads, polluted water bodies and poor sanitation make excellent breeding grounds for creepy crawling pests. Medical research has discovered that rats, mice, cockroaches, flies, and mosquitoes serve as hosts for transmitting disease. Lack of hygiene is an open option for infectious diseases. Cleanliness, if we may say so, can make the difference between life and death. A healthy environment is necessary if we want to stay healthy. If an environment is dirty then it badly effects on the people living around.

cleanliness is next to Godliness:-

‘’Cleanliness is next to Godliness’’ , the saying goes. It is next to beauty too. We cannot have beauty without some cleanliness-and the dirtier and messier things are, the uglier they get. There is a great connection between rest and beauty. In order to truly rest, we need beauty. Or at the very least, things must be clean. Cleanliness is beauty, and leads to rest.

The importance of cleanliness cannot be ignored in individual as well as communal life. On one hand it is an important factor for human health and spiritual development, and on the other hand it is essential for environmental development.
Islam has put unique emphasis on the importance of cleanliness by making it a part of faith. Hence, there is a dire need to make conscious efforts in educating the people about the importance of cleanliness.

Soon after, the hospital began a major push to increase hand washing, including lecturing offenders and promoting hand hygiene through screensaver messages on every computer in the hospital.…

The World Health Organization and the United States Center for Disease Control have been in the forefront of efforts to educate people regarding this very important topic. As a nurse, every day that I am on the job, I teach patients about appropriate hand hygiene as well as practicing these techniques myself. Medical research has proven that the simple task of carrying out hand washing rituals in a methodical, organized and timely manner, greatly reduces the spread of disease. However, despite years of knowledge and studies attesting to the effectiveness of this simple task in improving our health, there continues to be a serious deficit in the number of people who habitually practice proper hand-washing. One of the more recent studies on the subject was done by Michigan State University researchers in 2013. Lead researcher, Professor Carl Borchgrevink stated in the Journal of Environmental Health article, “Hand Washing Practices in a College Town Environment” (2013) that only 5% of the 3,749 participants in the study were practicing proper hand…

Looking at my behavioral habits through that definition explains a lot of how I have been raised. During my childhood, cleaning and becoming more organized is everything that I really knew. Having that habit engrained into my way of living for the majority of my life, makes it hard to see me living in another way. In consideration of my analysis on my cleaning habits that were formed from my parents I would find that there is no reason to develop a plan to make or change my habit. The habit of cleaning has made me more organized and structured, which is helping me teach my children how to be clean and responsible young people. Cleanliness is close to Godliness is a saying I have always heard. TO me it means that become a clean, and organized person leads to less stress in ones life. This also help the individual to remain aware of where his or her belongings are places as well as responsibility to take care of individualistic…

“Cleanliness is next to godliness”, this aphorism is with us since ages. It is an indirect biblical statement and countless people have commented upon it, orally as well as in text. I have gone through the pages of history to get to the bottom of statement. I turned pages of dictionaries to know it meaning. But no clear explanation and meanings are found. Some regarded it mere physical cleanliness of thing and some even went on to say. “I cleaned my hands but didn’t get closer to God”. Some famous writers like P.J.O’ Rourke said: “Cleanliness becomes more important when godlessness is unlikely”. Many indulged in the battle of words of godliness and godlessness. Diversity, diversion and delusion of meanings damned this adage. So, it is matter of prime importance to get to the real meaning of cleanliness, godliness and the whole statement. Godliness denotes state of being pure, virtuous and holiness thus getting close to God. And cleanliness means an act of purification leading to the level of sanctification. The whole statement means cleanliness takes a common man to the proximity of God. This journey starts from cleanliness of clothes, body and surroundings. Everything around us should be clean and beautiful. For which, Addison says “Beauty produces love, but cleanliness preserves it”.…
