The Navy's core values are the foundation of professionalism in the U.S. Navy. It is imperative that the Navy's Core Values are engraved into our hearts. It is my firm belief that leading by example is the most important aspect of authority.
Honor is the pride and ownership of my work, how I project the U.S. Navy to others, and how I present myself professionally to subordinates, peers and senior alike. It is my obligation to remain moral, ethical and steadfast in my beliefs and to carry on and instill honor in my Sailors. OWN UP!
