The Most Important Role Of Classroom Management
Classroom management is an area that includes different techniques and methods . They have varying qualities. I think the most important role of teacher in a classroom to teach the students taking responsibility. Teaching responsibilities is important for both the students' future life and the flow of the lessons. So, the first thing a teacher should manage is to give students the responsibility of their classroom. In the first day of classes, I talk about the important points of my theory. I ask them to create rules about our classroom together. I will be the guide and will give them some ideas about the management. I will ask them to tell me the things that can be disturbing in the classroom and that they should do in the classroom. They …show more content…
Then, students are candles. To brighten the class, I need to light each candle separately. They will be my light while I will be preparing my classroom management plan. When they light me, the first action I should do is to arrange the seating plan. The arranging of the class should be considered according to class size. If it is possible, I should place the candles not too far but also not too close. Because If I locate my candles too close, they would melt each other. Therefore, I will use U-shape pattern in my classroom. It is proper for both communication and group activities. I think it is the most effective one for creating a student-centred lesson. However, if the class size is high, I should consider another plan for sitting …show more content…
In the lesson time, I should be more strict that the other moments because my students are at the age of 11 and they are ready to communicate not to have a lesson. So, everything should be at the right time. I absolutely laugh with them, talk about the general issues in our life, but it does not mean they can interrupt the activities with other topics. At the same time, I said that my students are candles and also their families are candles so there should be a balanced distance between me and the parents. Parents are so worried about their children's success. Their eyes are closed to see that they are only little children. They will try to help them be grownups as individuals hence I will tell them to give their students the responsibility of their actions. Because if the students cannot learn to take responsibility, they will always need their parents in the future. I am a bit obsessed about this issue. So, I will be in better relations with my candles not parent candles. The communication between teacher and parents should be effective. The reason behind this is that there may be some difficulties in a student's life, the teacher may not be sufficient to light the candle. Therefore, the parents should help the teacher in this case. Teacher can use different ways to form a communication way with the parents. Parents has an important position in the chain of classroom

I will have a very patient and calm attitude with my class. I will ask students about their life outside of class so they feel comfortable. I want students to be a part of their learning. I want to involve students in rules about the classroom and if students feel they are involved in the workings of the classroom, they will be more motivated to engage in the class and in turn, learn. Being a facilitator of learning, following through on the procedures put into place, expecting that my students will learn, and setting the pace and environment for learning all make my class a well managed classroom.…

I plan to have a copy of the “welcome letter” that will go out to students and parents. As part of the welcome letter, there will also be a student/parent/teacher contract attached for both the student and parent to sign. Since this is a business course, the contract will tie into the “business world” theme I hope to bring across. On the first day of school, we will do some “get to know you games” and then go over teacher and student expectations for the class. It is during this time that I will relay what I expect to the students and hopefully find out what it is they expect from me. Students will get a chance to voice any concerns they might have ahead of time. This discussion will hopefully help everyone to get their ideas out on the table and together, we can create a set of class guidelines to…

To be a good teacher, I feel my philosophy needs to grow and evolve with each group of students that come into my classroom. I need to be continuously mindful of what is working and what is not. Recognizing when things are not working, I need to not only consider what is going on with the student, but also consider my approach and style to classroom management. As a classroom teacher, I have the opportunity to be a part of students’ academic experience for one year; helping to set the stage for their continued growth academically and socially. I am committed to creating and establishing a classroom environment that supports students and fosters students learning; putting my students on the pathway to…

The teacher should go over expectations as needed. Structure and routine is also important. A schedule should be made and followed. The children should follow the schedule to know what to expect. Teachers should be organized to avoid feeling frazzled. Students can help within the classroom with daily jobs. During transition times a timer can be used and switching locations to ease students to the next activity. Giving students guidance and staying calm during stressful situations can also help. Classroom management is all about the planning. A teacher should be prepared and understand to take things day by day.…

To me, discipline is a process that enables students to learn to manage their own behaviors in a classroom setting. These learned skills will then carry over as valuable assets in their future careers as students, professionals and parents. I have come to look at management as facilitating the process of learning by establishing expectations in a classroom setting that allow for gains in academics, social behaviors and personal growth. Both of these tools combined are symbiotic in that they support each other and provide the teacher and students with a way to function together at an optimal level.…

I believe that my classroom management plan will work to provide my students with a safe and supportive learning environment in many different ways. My classroom management plan is supportive because it includes outside resources that not all classrooms might have. I have implemented a technology/digital center so the students are able to work on assignments in the class. I also have stations where the students are able to work in a group of four or a group of five with the teacher instructing them. My class room is safe for all students because there is enough space to get throughout the entire classroom without having things in the way. There is a nice flow of space.…
