To keep a safe classroom my goal is that I'm always checking my classroom and its surroundings sp that there free from of harm and to prevent accidents from occurring. To meet those goals I set my classroom organized so no one gets hurt and check the toys to see if there not broken or loose to prevent accidents as well. I provide them with knowledge of how and what we have to do be safe in fire and tornado emergency and we do drills. I make sure that every student of mine is always signed in and out by their parent or guardian. I check the classroom for safety plugs in the wall outlets, that all the toys are sanitized as well as mats, tables, chairs.…

A classroom management plan is an essential part of every classroom. Students need to be in an environment that promotes respect for everyone so that the students can feel comfortable when they make mistakes. A good management plan sets the expectations for the school year. The focus of my management plan is on preventing problems by keeping the students actively engaged in the lessons being presented. Having a good classroom management plan is the foundation for learning, without it the students would not be able to learn. I am currently teaching second grade so this is a summary of what I do in my classroom.…

To me, discipline is a process that enables students to learn to manage their own behaviors in a classroom setting. These learned skills will then carry over as valuable assets in their future careers as students, professionals and parents. I have come to look at management as facilitating the process of learning by establishing expectations in a classroom setting that allow for gains in academics, social behaviors and personal growth. Both of these tools combined are symbiotic in that they support each other and provide the teacher and students with a way to function together at an optimal level.…
Goal Centered Theory entails educators to inquire about wants based clarifications designed for why scholars are encouraged to behave badly and discuss options on behalf of the scholars wants to be met. This involves educators to differentiate each scholar from their misconducts. To applying goal centered theory an educator should: employ the entire group of scholars in conversation regarding performance; offer alternatives, apply ordinary and reasonable outcomes, not castigation.…
In order to produce a positive classroom environment, there are a variety of ways teachers can implement proactive ideas that can and should be implemented in the very start of the school year. By applying these from the very start, students will have the tone set for the rest of the year. One of the most important things a teacher can develop is their relationship with their students both collectively and individually. Teachers should get to know each student intentionally within that first week of school, indicating to his or her students that they CARE. This is extremely important in order to establish a firm foundation for the rest of the school year. According to Burden, “When students sense that a teacher cares for them, they see the teacher as more credible and as an ally. This increases motivation to follow directions, to adhere to rules, and to put in effort for classroom activities” (2014, 5). Thus, by simply showing interest and intentionality into students’ lives, teachers can help themselves and their students to succeed throughout the year. Another proactive way teachers can create a positive classroom environment is to promote students’ self esteem. Though this may seem like a broad statement, teachers can utilize simple tools and words that will encourage students to be self-motivated and to have self-esteem. Teachers can do this by setting up goals for students, constant encouragement and affirmation, and choosing students to do certain “jobs” that they have proved to be equipped for. Simple gestures such as thumbs up, a pat on the back or high five can also send big messages to the student that they are proud of them for a job well done. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider how we can spur one another on toward love and good deeds…encouraging one other…” What an incredible opportunity we have as educators to carry out biblical principles God has laid out for us in His…
Classroom management is a term used by teachers to describe the process of ensuring that classroom lessons run smoothly despite disruptive behavior by students. This term can also refer to the prevention of disruptive behavior. Many consider this as one of the most difficult tasks for new teachers. The basis for classroom management involves clear communication of both, the behavioral and academic expectations, as well a cooperative learning environment and proper time management. In order to successfully maintain proper order in the classroom, we must engulf a vast amount of actions, such as classroom climate, parental involvement, environment, student expectations, rewards and consequences, classroom procedures, and student motivation.…
