Salary is important for every career, people want to make enough money that can support their financial needs. According to Bureau of labor statistics, 2015 median pay for dental assistants was about $35,980 a year, $17.50 per hour. Dental assistant salary depends on the years of experience, education, and location. Registered and certified dental assistant make more than a regular dental assistant. Certified dental assistant make $19 hourly, which are $2 more than a regular dental assistant (ADA). Salary also depends on location. The table shows the yearly wage for dental assistant of Wilmington NC, and the United States (U.S. Department of Labor).
