Rationale
Food Industry grew very fast in recent last 10 years. It is one of the main grooming food industries in country today. It is the business in which it mostly depends on the availability of the time and income. There is unlimited opportunity in this industry which provides different variety of food in today’s Shawarma and Biryani house. Restaurant provide lunch and dinner by serving to the people working nearby with simple food and served in simple setting at low prices by arrangement of formal setting.

As in the any business operation there is two possibility of either business will grow high or maybe it might decline. Restaurant business have expanded substantially, and operation have become so aggressive. According to this our research aimed to see the status of the operation of the Restaurant. Our research was conduct on ongoing business. It is important to have a strategies while operating the Restaurant. Our research conduct on the Taj Mahal Shawarma and Biryani house operating in Dagupan City. In our research we covered the Management, Marketing and Technical aspect was discussed. Research also shows what problems encountered by the Restaurant and also gives recommendation to the operator of the business. As we know about the food industry it is one of the most competitive businesses all over the place especially in terms of status of the business which show how long it stays in operation. The main focus of this study is the current status of the operation of the Restaurant business.

There are lots of things to be considered before entering in this business. These studies provide information to readers, future researchers and BSBA students who will pursue the study. This study will help to the person who dreams about having the business someday, this study aimed at providing a background on how the Restaurant is operating in Dagupan City.

This study was all about Taj Mahal Shawarma and Biryani house where it is an all Indian, Pakistani and Arabic style food served. This restaurant offers different taste of food from different country and so that we as researchers aimed to promote the food industry using this study and also to have an outlook on how a business operates. Statement of the Problem

This study aimed to assess the operation of Taj Mahal Shawarma and Biryani house in Dagupan City. Further, it is ascertained its status and problems in order to have a basis for enhancing the said food service business.

Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions: 1. What is the status of business in Dagupan City in terms of the following operations Aspects: a. Management;
b. Marketing; and
c. Technical?
