TLC Meeting Summary
This meeting was addressed by Ruth Goodin, Abbey Duldulao, and James Neal. Ruth Gordon was non-voting co-chair of the EEO committee.

The room was located on the fourth floor of the CORE building. The site provided a quite and relaxing environment.

In this meeting, there are total of nine people were present and they were missing one person. Around 80% of the total population was present actively and was observing the actual presentation.

This committee focused on the Equal Employment Opportunities for the different minority race groups. The main purpose of this committee was to hire a diverse group of of work force to make L.M.C. culturally diverse. About 80 % of the audience appeared to be observing actively. This meeting also had two student representatives.

The TLC meeting was conducted to discuss the Student Learning Outcomes (SLO’s) and also to approve some new courses. They talked about the significance of SLOs and their impact on the learning process of the students. They mentioned that, the courses are designed and based of the SLOs and hence students are graded on these bases. They also talked about the implication of new courses due to the need of students.They agreed on the payment for adjuncts adjustment by limiting it to 3 hours other academic rate.

This meeting was conducted successfully. The speaker listened to the suggestions given to him by the students and his peers. They agreed that most of the time students are not aware of the fact that are being evaluated on these SLOs. Their way of communication and explaining the key points was pretty impressive. As the majority of the committee members were head of their departments, so they talked on the implication of plans rather than putting efforts on making the new
