Anti Bullying Policy
Anti Bullying policy aims to ensure that all members of the
school community ( all governors, teaching and non teaching staff, pupils and their parents) understand what bullying is and that they areabletofollowtheschoolantibullyingpolicy.Bullyingofany kind is unacceptable at our school. If ever bullying occurs, all pupils should be able to tell and know that incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively. The policy stress on what racism is and that the school is legally obligated to keep a log of any racist incidents. Discipline& Behaviour Policy
Discipline and Behaviour policy aims to set a standard and make clear expectations of behavour as well ensure a consistent and fair approach throughout the school. Discipline policy defines the rewards and the sanctions, and how and when to be applied. Paper copy of the Willington school discipline policy is available at the school Office. Also teacher’s computers have access to the school’s hard disc where an electronic copy of all school policies could be found.

As attendance is important for pupil’s education and establishes a positive working ethos in early life my responsibility is to promote a future attendance. A classroom practitioner I need to reassure and comfort children who have been absent from school for a long period of time and follow the plan that is developed to help them to catch up with missed curriculum. It is essential that the school is informed of the reasons for absence. Unauthorised absence is regarded as truancy and all absence should be recorded on a child’s annual report. All boys are required to arrive on time as lateness is recorded in the register. The teacher should be notified of the late arrival of a pupil and the reason for that. If a pupil is absent and the 2 3
