Beckett
Beckett goes to this party thinking no one would notice her, If no one noticed her, she would have committed suicide. Her mom died of cancer and she hasn’t talked to her father. She distanced herself from her ex best friend, Ashley, and everyone when her mom died.
Morrigan
Morrigan goes to this party because it’s the biggest party of the year and to make her parents mad. She took the car without permission and her parents won’t let her go now. She calls her friend Ashley and tells her that she’s going to sneak out. She doubts that her parents will even notice. She broke up with her boyfriend around a week before the party because

He hits a sign driving. He starts fishtailing. A cop was behind him. The cop was Ashley’s brother and he lets him go with a warning.
Max
He was outside and the cops asked if he saw anything outside, but since he only saw what happened inside he decided he should mind his own business. When everyone was outside leaving, he saw Beckett. He said her name and then she was like “You know me?” and he said yeah. Then they start talking about Azize and Anthony. Max had a “lucky” 13 card from a coffee shop and gave it to Beckett and she knew the coffee shop place so they decided that they were going to get coffee sometime.
Ashley
Ashley was at the party as a designated driver and to keep Morrigan in place (as good as she could). When it was time to leave, she got Morrigan in the car without puking, and then she puked. She saw Beckett walking and asked if she needed a ride, she said ok. Anthony got out without any trouble but he was going to do his best to help Azize out. When Anthony left, they were taking Morrigan home and then she woke up and asked if they were hungry. They went to get something to eat and then Morrigan went to go get the food and Ashley found out that her mom died and when Morrigan came back it was silent so she goes “So what’s up with you two? Who died?”. Then Beckett started laughing and then the two other girls started laughing. They went home and Morrigan was grounded a month and Beckett moved in with

    As the movie begins, Dan and his wife, Beth, go to a company party when he meets Alex Forrest for the first time. The next morning Beth and daughter, Ellen, leave for the weekend to look at a house they are considering moving into while Dan stays at home for a business meeting. When he arrives at the meeting, Alex is also there. After the meeting is over, Alex and Dan go to have drinks; Alex asks Dan about his family life and begins to make sexually suggestive comments. They go back to Alex’s apartment and have sex together. In the morning, Dan goes home to call Beth. Immediately after Dan hangs up, Alex calls and questions Dan about why he left so early. He ends up taking his family dog to the park with Alex to play, they go back to Alex’s place for dinner and listen to the opera Madame Butterfly. They discuss how much they like the opera and how important it is to Dan.
