Studying in Australia
Studying abroad in a different country can be a great experience at a low and affordable cost. In addition, you can stay with another family. A great place for me to study abroad would be in Australia because they have seven of the top 100 universities, strong academic credentials, and more than one culture to study.
Australia has seven of the top 100 universities in the world. Melbourne, for example, is one of the leading universities in Australia with over 22,000 courses to choose from. The University of Melbourne caters for so many international students and has been the international leader in research, learning and teaching for more than 150 years. The University of Melbourne is a huge university filled with eager students looking for a great education.
Equally important, Australia has strong academic credentials, which means in order to get into the university you have to have high marks. Some of the universities in Australia don’t have a standard procedure for calculating the grade point average (GPA). University of Melbourne also requires applicants have a minimum GPA of 3.0 though students with a lower GPA may apply but won’t be guaranteed a spot.
Besides having strong academic credentials, Australia is also known for having more than one culture. In Australia many people speak English but some speak Greek, Latin and 200 other languages! Having more than one culture to learn can help my brain learn how to read text more quickly and efficiently. Also with many international students I’ll get the chance to interact with them and learn culture from different countries. 25% of students from Melbourne University are international students from over 150 different countries!
Studying in Australia will help benefit my education with their strong academic credentials, multiple cultures and great universities. In addition it will be a phenomenal learning experience.
