STATEMENT OF PURPOSE FOR MS IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Life has always been a smooth flowing brook with small dashes here and there. It has certainly reached a critical juncture when I have to desire where to turn and what to do next and my idea of life can be best quoted by this very famous quotation: “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” -- Albert Einstein I am interested in pursuing a Masters Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Portland State University with VLSI Design as my Area of Interest. My interest lies specifically in the field of Electrical Engineering. My undergraduate engineering degree in Electronics and Communication and also convinced me that a Masters Degree is an essential first step in my quest to master this field. My career objective is to become a VLSI Designer actively to research in Electronics Engineering, from an academic environment. Hence I intend to follow up my Masters degree with a PhD. I would like to introduce myself as Talla Teja Goud. I’m pursuing my bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Department from NISHITHA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, which is affiliated to an esteemed institution JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY- HYDERABAD (JNTU-H). I always had the ambition of pursuing the MS program right from my childhood days. As an Electronics Engineer, I look for graduate study to refine my knowledge and skills in my areas of interest. I believe it will also serve to give direction to my goal of a career as research oriented organization. Ever since I was a child my first tryst with electronics was the Broadband Internet. I was fascinated and questioned myself how does it work. How it transmits the signals and what components make up a Personal computer to receive a signal from Broadband Exchanges. From those days I...
