Statement of purpose
I believe in having the hunger to learn synchronised with calculated amount of hard work will lead to one’s goal. And my goal has always been to accomplish myself in all fields of life, personal and professional life. Hailing from a small town, hard work has always paved the path for me towards success. In my dictionary, success would mean achieving the targets that I set for myself. With 25 years of initial learning stage passed by, I have groomed myself into a better person, more intellectual and knowledgeable.
From career point of view, I was always fascinated by Information Technology and the wonders it scan do. Information is the ultimate form of power in today’s business world, and combining it with power becomes a lethal weapon to succeed in competitive scenario. This very flair of mine has always pulled me towards taking up of my under-graduation courses like C, C++ and database management. Being from the best college in my state, I had the opportunity of witnessing world class teaching facility with global exposure. My commitment to learn and grow has always set me one apart from the class of graduates.
Though my engineering discipline is Electrical & Electronics, my eye for management was still intact. Courses like Industrial Economics and Management have laid out a different dimension to business by bringing in the most important dimension of commercial terms. I believe with my 2 years of IT domain work experience and stuffed with discipline of engineering, my approach to a given situation has changed and the results have always been better.
The university has inculcated in me a sense of discipline in my thoughts as well as my actions; which on the long term have made me to set a part to my career. If the university was successful in imparting me with theoretical concepts, my two years stint at TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES Ltd., was fruitful in challenging my acumen in terms of people management and time management.
