Sports Lawyer Research Paper
Almost everyone likes sports. I want to have a job in sports. Anything from a sports agent to a sports lawyer. There is another side of sports besides the athletic part. The big part is the money making side of it. The first job I would enjoy would be a sports agent. They negotiate contracts for the players. After the contract is signed, the sports agent gets a cut of the paycheck. To be a sports agent, you have to get a degree in business management. After you get you degree go to a sports agency. Another job is a Sports Lawyer. A sports lawyer does cases for teams, players, or leagues. All of the cases have to do with sports related penalties, and nothing to do with the law. You need a law degree, and a certain amount of

One would think that all the hype DC’s Sports bar of Eunice, Louisiana gets that it would be a great restaurant and have a great environment. The owner is Darrin Cobb and his restaurant is run by two of his daughters, Ashley and Brittany Cobb. DC’s serves food from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and serves alcoholic beverages until 2:00 am. My experience proved the hype about this sports bar wrong. All though the food is exceptional, the environment and service was not.…

My childhood dream was to work as an anchor for ESPN. I still want to work in sports, as a college athletics video coordinator, video taping practices and games for game tape and the university archive. Sure, it was refined somewhat, but what I want to do is basically in the same vein as my childhood dream. When being asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up,” my answer was “an ESPN anchor.” I still think about that from time to time, even though I’m a freshman in college. I think if you keep the dreams from your youth in the back of your head, you will actively pursue something that you really love. If you like what you do, you will be much happier, and happiness is the key to quality of life.…

The main reason I became interested in this career was because my freshman year I completely tore two of my major ligament in my ankle and I was out for two years. The recovery process was long and difficult because every time I would try to come back and play on it I would hurt it again and again and again. During my recovery I became very intrigued by athletic training. Mainly because I want to help athletes get back as fast as possible, because I know it is pretty depressing not being able to do the one thing you love. A plus is you get paid to watch sports which I mean come on how is this not a cool a job? Next year I plan on being a football trainer to get some hands experience and after I graduate from Harrah I hope to attend OSU and further my experience at the division 1 level in their allied health department, and hopefully get to shadow a professional trainer at the college. One day I’m hoping to be at the top level of athletic training such as working with NFL players, MLB players, and the best one yet NBA…

From an early age I have enjoyed playing and watching sports. So when my dad took me to the Kansas University football game where my uncle was the athletic trainer I became very interested in what the job was all about. Over the years my uncle has helped me recover from sports injuries and I thought it would be fun to be on the other side and also become an athletic trainer so I can help athletes play their sport without any injuries just like my uncle did for me. I chose an athletic trainer because I have always have had a love for sports and an interest in the medical field and this career has a great combination of both of those things. After researching and learning about the career I am sure that an athletic trainer is the right career for me.…
