First off let me say this every time I see this movie/documentary I really inspires me to do better in my community and in my school. The movie/documentary sankofa his one very important meaning that all people of African American decent should try and incorporate in our everyday lives that is to reach back to our past and share something from our past with a young person to better their future. This is very important because how can you know where you are going if you don’t know about where your people have been. Shame on the person that does not embrace there history not only embrace it but also understand it because you must understand your past because your pas his shaped the future and if we as African American don’t start to understand and embrace our past we will allow all that our ancestor and fore fathers worked for to be taking always with the stroke of a racist senator pen. It think that it is very important that most African watch this film because somewhere along the and over the year some of the Africans I have meet are trying to be more like American if they watch this film it will empower them to embrace there every rich history and to have pride in know that our people are the true first that our people are the real salt of the earth. My favorite it part in the file was when the young lady came back from her dream and she realized that the life that she was living was not her destiny but it was an eye opener for her of how our people have allowed America to give us a false perception of our home…

The purpose of the Financial Literacy Promotion Project is to provide an opportunity for the chapter members to demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating a campaign to educate chapter members and the general public or an organized group about the importance of financial literacy. To be financially literate, one must be able to confidently read, analyze, and manage their personal finances to lead more secure and satisfying lives. The most basic areas include banking (managing checking and savings accounts), budgeting, and setting and implementing financial goals (short term to retirement). To set and obtain financial goals, one must have a working knowledge of investment instruments, borrowing, and insurance. Further, financial literacy includes an understanding of employment benefits, taxes, and other payroll deduction options. Maintaining good credit can save an individual a significant sum of money in interest savings, insurance premiums, and may even affect one’s ability to secure employment. The Financial Literacy Promotion Project is a chapter project that develops the economic and marketing knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in a global economy. After learning the economic principles associated with financial literacy, chapter members will utilize their marketing knowledge and skills to communicate the benefits of financial literacy to others. The project may begin at any time after the close of the previous chartered association conference and run to the beginning of the next chartered association conference. The Financial Literacy Promotion Project provides an opportunity for chapter members to • demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of financial literacy • engage in activity(ies) that clarify and enhance understanding of financial literacy • plan and implement a presentation or activity(ies) to educate and promote…

Even though I have been employed more than once, I do not recall ever receiving an actual performance evaluation experience. Most of the time I would either get an appraisal or a complaint by my fellow coworkers or supervisor. During my employments in the hospital, I only worked there for a couple of months. Despite having worked at a private practice for a year and a half, I never received a performance evaluation experience. However, as a student, I have undergone performance evaluation experiences while participating in some of the SONA studies. As a student taking psychology courses, it is my duty to participate in the SONA studies due to specific requirements in my courses or for extra credit in the course.
