Some People Think That Parents Should Teach Children How to Be Good Members of Society.Others , However, Believe That School Is the Place to Learn This.
Currently ,Many children go astray during the time they grow up. There is a heated debate whether the children should be taught by their parents to be good members of society, while others believe it is the school responsibility to handle this task. I will attempt to analyze the pros and cons about these issues.
Some people think it is the responsibility of the parents to teach the children good behavior. The main reason is that children often like imitating their parents’behavior.Whatever parents do ,their children will follow these. They have to be the role models the children can learn from. Moreover ,parents have long time to get along with their children ,they know more about what the children want to have and the children’s personality than other people.Parents have the advantage to teach their children best. They can make proper plans for their children and train them to be going members of society.
By contrast, Others may claim that schools are the best place educate children to be good members of society. Apparently, children mainly acquire knowledge from school. Compared with their parents ,they believe what their teachers say.And what’s more, school often has good atmosphere to cultivate children to be a good member of society. Most importantly, teachers in school have scientific methods to educate children.Children can communicate with their peers about how to be a good member and learn some good advantages from their peers.
Having considered the arguments on both sides of the debate,I believe that children should be helped to become active and able members of that society by not only their parents but also schools.I would suggest that every member of a society should take responsibility for helping the younger generation to be good members of society.

Couple with those dreams, parents have to make life-changing decisions before birth such as working or staying home, public school or home school, and permissive versus strict parenting. Of all the decisions made, the last will have the most critical impact on a child. Parents are a major guiding force in an individual’s life, especially through the first 18 years. What parents teach their children will always be the difference maker in their children’s taste, views, lifestyle and most importantly, decision making and display of moral judgment. Parents must steer their children into the right and moral path as early as possible because this is just like planting a seed. The better the quality of the seed we plant, the better quality of crop we will get. If a child is raised in a controlled, caring, moral environment, he/she is more likely to grow into a moral, responsible and model individual as an adult. In a way, parents are given a time of 18 years (by this age most teenagers are released out of the parents’ control, mainly due to college education, or work/occupation demands) to nurture and shape the lifestyle and mindset of their…
