Society Is Too Dependent On Technology
I. Imagine what would happen if we woke up tomorrow to a world with no technology. A world with no modern transportation, no computers, or cellphones. How could we possibly travel to work? How could we work? How could we communicate?
II. The fact of the matter is that our society could not travel to work, we could not work, and we could not communicate because we are too dependent on technology to take care of us.
III. Today you will learn three ways why society is too dependent on technology; the first way is our modern transportation, the second way is the technology in our workplace, and the third way is the way society communicates.

I. The first way why society is too dependent on technology is our modern transportation.

The fact of that matter is that trade is impossible without modern transportation, and complex trade is impossible without modern mechanized transportation.
B. Modern transportation also provides people with mobility and access to employment, community resources, medical care, and recreational opportunities in communities across America.
1. Take for example the percentage of people who own a car, In an article titled Does Everyone in America Own a Car?, Robin Chase, founder and former CEO of Zipcar, stated in 2012 that 95 percent of all American households own a car, and 85 percent of Americans get to work by car.
2. Not only does modern transportation affect the United States, it also affects people across the whole world. Take for example Australians.
