Smoking Persuasive Research Paper
Today about four hundred thousands Americans die annually because of the health problem due to smoking. One and a half million people quit smoking a year, but more than fifty millions people keep on going. Tobacco contains nicotine, a drug that is addictive. Once you start smoking, it is very hard, but not impossible to quit. Smoking has several harmful effects on the body. People who smoke for a significant period of time will have problems with breathing and will most likely be in poor health. One out of four deaths of people from thirty-five to sixty-four years old result from smoking. Based on scientific research, every cigarette takes five and a half minutes of life away from a smoker. For instance, we all know that it's not easy to educate an adult as it is for a child. Even if we open classes to educate people about the harm of smoking, there won't be a guarantee that all the adults including smokers and non-smokers will attend those classes. However, we can create the interest that makes students attend those classes by doing advertisement. There could be advertisements posting dates and times on classes where you can go and learn about the effects of smoking. Once people begin to understand what smoking is really about, if they are smart, they will want to quit. Another problem that may arise is where we are going to get the money to fund these classes and to build smoking building for smokers? There are some simple solutions to raise money. We can either make our own fund by establishing organizations among college students or we can get support from larger anti-smoking organizations. Getting supports from anti-smoking organizations is always a plus because sometimes they will even provide donations to organizations that they find to be beneficial to people. There are also numerous other ways that these classes can be funded, so money will not be a major

    Most people known somewhat of the problems associated with tobacco consumption yet, smoking has become a trend in the world of today, even though people know how harmful it is. Smoking causes are obvious it will tear down and destroy your health and give you a series of health issues that cling to you for the rest of your life. In America 85% of the teenage population first start smoking around the ages of fifteen and sixteen, and they soon find out smoking tobacco is incredibly addicting.
