Cause Of Smoking Essay
Smoking is a way that some people find good to them because it helps them from stressing out, but what some people don’t know is that smoking is the reason why so many people are dieing now a days. According to CDC, also known as United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 443,000 people die each year because of smoking. There are many different types of tobacco that people smoke, but the main ones are: chewing tobacco, cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes (also known as vape), and weed. All of these could leave smokers to some type of disease or cancer that can hurt the person, or even kill the person that smokes it.
According to CDC, about 42 million adults in the United States are currently smokers that smoke cigarettes.

Cigar is a roll of tobacco wrapped in a leaf cigar. Smoking a cigar is just as bad as a cigarette and can put you in a lot of risk too. Cigars, unlike cigarettes, come in 3 different sizes. You can buy a small size cigar, a medium size cigar, and even a large size cigar. A cigar is basically made entirely out of tobacco. Unlike cigarettes which is rolled up with white paper, cigars are wrapped up of leaves that are tobacco. then is stuffed with even more tobacco in it. Even though cigars are made up of basically tobacco and they come in all sizes, they also come in different flavors. You can get a cigar that has a vanilla flavor, cherry flavor, chocolate flavor, grape wine flavor, coffee flavor, and other different types of flavors too. Like cigarettes, cigars also contain nicotine making it very addictive to smoke. According to the American Lung Association, about 13 million people in the United States are cigar smokers. Smoking cigars can cause many types of cancers. The three top cancers caused by smoking cigars are oral cancer, esophagus cancer, and lung cancer. Compared to cigarettes however, smoking cigars is less risky of getting these cancer compared to smoking
