Should Mothers Join Work?
Should Mothers be allowed to go outside their homes or stay inside and work inside? Nowadays, it is very common for mothers to work outside the home. Whether, a woman should stay at home or work to support the family is widely debated by many people. Some argue that the family especially a small child may be neglected. However, many women need to work because of economic reasons or want to work to continue a career. I believe that every mother has the right to work and the decision should be one that a woman makes on her own. However I would recommend thinking about her choices first, she should carefully think about the many problems that she might encounter. Such as a child not being able to see her mother whenever he or she wants which prevents the child from establishing a proper social connection with his or her mother. I disagree with the opinion of mothers work outside.
Firstly, if women are locked up at home, their personal education will stay weak or not as good and their thinking ability will not improve or it slows the rate of learning. Due to the fact the mothers give basic teaching to the child or children, their level of knowledge and logic is very important for the future generations. Although mothers have some responsibilities like child and home care, these duties can be shared with husbands. Also in the pregnancy and in the first days after giving birth, they should be able to get permission from their job employers for some time enough to take care of themselves and babies for about a few months. Due to the fact, today some jobs do not allow this right to women; governments should give this privilege to every pregnant woman by enacting a law and guarantee them to keep their jobs. This can save a lot of trouble.
Also, mothers are an important person in the household because she does many chores that no one else wants to do like for example: Cleaning the dishes, cleaning the toilets making and preparing dinner or vacuuming the floor. All those

In our society we live in today, women who continue to work after having children are frowned upon. Women are criticized and blamed for working full time, and not spending enough time with their children. Nowadays, mothers have the luxury to choose between staying at home with their newborn children, and returning back to work. With women in the workforce, it shows their independence and positive effect they have on society. During the early 1900’s, women played one role, to stay at home and raise their children, while their husbands were out making all the money. Unlike the past, women today have the freedom to be successful in any job they pursue. Mothers who work part time after giving birth are able to spend quality time with their children,…

Society today has established numerous new types and definitions of the word “work”. The division of labor has shifted and advanced due to reasons such as globalization and gender equalization. Instead of having to stay at home and do housework, women now have options to pick the kinds of work that they prefer. Women nowadays no longer have to rely on their other half for living because they are capable and well educated. With these changes in social reformation, we have created numerous different family conditions and situations. Arlie Hochschild and Amy Chua discuss in their articles “From the Frying Pan into the Fire” and “Why Chinese Mothers are Superior” the different types of work that mothers have today. Both authors argue that despite some mothers may have to go out for work, parenting is still a form of duty which all mothers have. These two authors described the definition of work differently. However, both authors define their perception of “work” from the same perspective for mothers. It is difficult and complicated for women nowadays to successfully undertake their roles. They believe that the idea of work in today’s society has been broadened and enlarged due to social advancement and feminist reformation. Work can now exists in various forms depending on each and other’s situations. Parenting is indeed no different than working in jobs. For women in both Western and Eastern societies, the idea of work is an obligation. It can either be a job or parenting.…

Since the proportion of mothers participating in the paid workforce has increased dramatically over recent years, women in the workforce have emphasized that the main problem they find the hardest is finding the balance between work and family life. As a result, a great deal of research attention has been paid to the impact of mother's employment on family life and on the wellbeing of children and parents. Research shows evidence that women continue to bear primary responsibilities for home and child care in spite of their entry in the labor force (Berardo, Shehan, & Leslie, 1987; Pleck, 1985).…

For my Second Shift assignment the working parents that I interviewed were my own parents. Both of my parents do house work after coming home from work. They have duties that they are expected to do. When something is broken, it is my dad or me that fix it. Me and my dad always carry the heavy things and do the heavy work. Sometimes I do have to do it alone when my parents can’t do it. My mom always cleans and does most of the cooking in the house. When I was a little kid, my mom always made me food and reminded to do my homework. She would be the one to take care of me and wake me up to go to school. From looking at what my mother does on a daily basis I can tell that she does more work in the house than my father. I can see that most women have these kinds of obligations in their households. I also remember reading some information about the different roles in modern households a few years ago. As I read in 2002 the journal "Sex Roles: A Journal of Research" published a study on women and their roles in the family. Their study found that seven out of ten married parents believe child care should be shared equally, but two-thirds of the mothers said they most of the time cared for children.…

Working mothers will have to make time, maybe working a few days less a week, I know that maternity leave helps with getting settled in with your new infant but their learning and care giving never stops. All mothers need help with their new born, help from family members, and some working and non working parents lean to care centers for help. I think care centers are a good thing if they are not abused, having help with your child isn't a bad thing at all. I think we would call go a little crazy if our baby never left our side. Care centers help socialize your child, and give the mother a chance to have a little free time. I feel that all mothers should be supported on what they decide to do with their lives, if it means working and raising your children, or just simply focusing on raising your…

Mothers on welfare should be required to work. Even though mothers with newborn babies face increased responsibilities, there is an overwhelming amount of day care centers and babysitters that can provide relief for these mothers in order for them to enter the work force. With that being said, mothers can find jobs to better their financial status. The majority of welfare mothers are becoming too dependent on the help that is being provided for them. Also, by becoming dependant on welfare, mothers are setting bad examples for their children, and finally with all the help that the state is giving out, there are numerous state run programs that are on the brink of being closed.…
