he Shang Dynasty. This is small compared to the other dynasties, but this is among one of the oldest china dynasties. The Shang Dynasty was small compared to the Han Dynasty because it did not have all of all the advanced technology like the Han Dynasty had. Even though they were not as big in size they had parts that a civilization needed. Why do you think that they lasted about 550 years.
Government was the Shangs most focused on their dynasty Government helped them with a lot of things. A category that was the most used in government was their army. That is how the Shang Dynasty took control of the area they had.

He kept on fighting to gain power. He kept a strong army and since he kept on fighting he relied on the government. He used some of his citizens to fight in his army temporary if he felt that he needed for men to fight his other enemies. The entire reason this family line had a dynasty was because of their armies. He kept fighting and fighting until he would win.
The Shang Dynasty’s diet. One of the stable food supplies is Millet, this was one of the Shangs. Wheat and Rice were also common during this era. To keep the Shang Dynasties food supply stable they had to use wood and stone. Crops like rice and wheat and some other grains they had to use a large area. Oxen and others animals were used to plow the fields. The wheat, when it was bundled people of the Shang had to beat it with sticks to loosen the bundle.
The Shang Dynasty’s belief was that when you die there was an after life. So how they believed they will have enough things in the afterlife was they took their pets for instance. They would kill the pets and then put them with the person who died. Then if the king died they would sacrifice the servants or slaves for that they would have some service in their after life. They put some food with people so that they would have something nice to eat while they were in the afterlife. This was mainly their religion that they were focused on.
