School Ambassador Research Paper
Having a positive outlook on living your life is one way to do things, I feel it helps me set my goals and strive to reach them. I am Morgan McCarthy, a freshman at Chelsea High School. I feel I would make a successful ambassador for the school. I am confident in our school and I hope to see it flourish throughout my four years here.I feel that as a school we should work together to only better the school. Being an ambassador is a great position in our school, and I would love to be able to serve as an ambassador. Ambassadors in the school should serve as role models to everyone. To me, serving as an ambassador goes beyond the school, I feel at all times people should try to be the best they can and be a good example to others. Being dependable, compassionate, and loving to work and help others, I feel, would help me serve an ambassador position in our school.
Dependability is an important quality in a leader. Being dependant can affect many things in life, such as school. Dependability is also important in relationships in life, because if others see you as dependable, they believe you are a consistent person and will always be there. Loyalty also goes hand and hand with dependability. I also play volleyball, at both school and competitively, and dependability is seen in sports, if your teammates know they can depend

I love teaching sunday school at my church and babysitting when I can. Being compassionate and friendly to someone can impact someone's day to an extent, that you may not realize at the time, but they might remember it for a while. Many achievements are made by helping others. Helping others is also a chain reaction, so we should all try to spread the compassion. Everyone has the power to make someone's day or even bring down someone, I try my best to always help others in any way possible. The willing to help others and compassion are parts of my life that I feel make me,

Volunteering for service hours changed my outlook on life. I worked with the Hydrocephalus Association in both eleventh and twelfth grade. The Hydrocephalus Association focuses on three things community, clarity, and cure. Hydrocephalus is a condition defined by an abnormal, excessive accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) within the cavities of the brain. Some people with this condition can live a normal life being unnoticeable while other have difficulties. The association works on awareness to find a cure, clarity in helping families further understand the condition, and a community which will always be supportive. Service hours can sometimes be a hassle but once I started volunteering with that association it became fun because I was…

I want to become a Merrimack Ambassador because I want to share the love I have for Merrimack with potential students. I specifically want the students to fall in love with Merrimack, just like I did. I believe that I am an outgoing individual, which I feel like is an important trait for an Ambassador because you need to be able to interact with the individuals who you are giving a tour. At the same time, I am also a little reserved which can also be essential when giving a tour because you need to be able to connect with all of the students and not scare them away. I also feel that I have a lot of school pride. School pride is essential when being an Ambassador because you are sharing your love for Merrimack with interested students. Finally,…

Decisiveness is a quality because a leader needs to show good judgement by making fair and clear decisions when facing tough situations. They also need to do this quickly. Adaptability is also a quality because they must be able to adjust to long-term plans when new information is available. They must also be able to adjust to a changing environment. Another quality is courage, a team leader needs courage because if they are in the frontline in the army they need it to get the task done and to motivate the team and to show an example. I volunteer in my community whenever I get the opportunity. For example, I helped students get to school safely and I helped out around the school. I volunteered at the public library to help younger children. I now see it is hard work to get children focused and help them not make a big mess, but I enjoyed helping them in any way I can. Volunteering at the public library also taught me about patience. Not everything went exactly how I planned it out, but at the end it still worked out. My time at the library also taught me about effort.…

like helping other students when they don't understand something like when you met kids who would soon be good friends to you they came from different places and did not understand english but you still tried to help them despite of then not understanding you and you helped many more like when that third grader fell and scraped there knee and nobody had noticed or where refusing to help you rushed over and helped them to a teacher and to the nurse's office or when that second grader was crying you went over and conferted them giving them the comfort that they…

Whether it was holding the door open for the person behind me or simply telling them to have a nice day, my favorite thing to do has always been to make people smile. In elementary school, more often than not, I assumed the role of class helper. This entailed staying after class parties to help clean up messes or spending extra time at recess to make sure all of the kickballs were in their specific spots. As I've grown up, it only makes sense that my love for helping people in any shape or form has translated into a love for volunteering. Whether it is tutoring elementary school children or helping run a clothing drive, the numerous altruistic tendencies that have been instilled in me through volunteer work will forever shape who I am as a…

I am spending my time volunteering at St. Marks United Methodist Church (St. Marks UMC). This church is an open community, working to create a comfortable atmosphere for anyone and everyone in and around the area. I work specifically with the youth of the church and I reach out to students who are my age or younger than me. I have been volunteering at St. Marks for almost four years, assisting in many different groups and organizations sponsored by our church. I volunteer at this church because it has given me an opportunity to be myself, explore talents, and make strong connections, and I want to help continue this effort and reach out to kids who are struggling with a lot of the same difficulties I faced. I believe that volunteering here is a great experience for someone studying psychology because you meet and get to know many kids who are facing various issues in their lives.…

I love helping people in many ways that can make them smile. When I help people it make me feel like I’m doing something positive to change their life in so many ways. When I help people I always made it the best. There are so many people today who don’t have support from their family, and friends, so I would be the person to help them feel comfortable and that missing person in their lives .Some people need that in their lives because people don’t have everyone like that in their family and can’t show them the love or support that some family do have.…

When I was finally a senior I decided to change my ministry to help with a local version of Habitat for Humanity. I found out that a local Boy Scout troop would let me help them repair houses even though I was not a Boy Scout. They welcomed me with open arms and we got to work right away. We completely remodeled the house and the old man was so happy. We brought back his human dignity by raising his standard of living. Human dignity is something that everybody deserves but not everybody gets, but in this case the man regained his human dignity and he was so happy that it made all of my hard work worth it. This semester I was taught all about human dignity and now I have seen both effects of it, a man without human dignity and at the end a man with human dignity and it is an unbelievable change. I am so glad that I got to help this troop this semester.…

Finally, when I moved to New Orleans I started volunteer work at the Children’s Hospital and helped with pop up clinics for the Latino community twice. Overall I found that helping others shouldn't be something seen as duty or mandatory, it should be spontaneous. Through others experiences and hardships we learn and grow as human beings, not only did I enjoy helping others but I felt that it helped me with my problems. Having moved around so much and meet so many people and living by myself so many years I came to truly be thankful for my blessings and specially for my hardships. Hermann Hesse once said, "I have always believed, and I still believe, that whatever good or bad fortune may come our way we can always give it meaning and transform it into something of value." Helping others made me realize that we all need help and that my way to help others would be through their health. It also taught me not to judge anybody, especially if you don't know what they have been through. I am hard believer that everything happens for a reason, and all the weekends I spend watching my parents help others helping others myself made me the determined person that I am today. Finally, the most important lesson I learned was to never give up, no matter how hard the task is or how bad the problem is there will always be someone willing to help and you can always be both sides to that, the helper or the one who needs…

To be an ambassador for President University means a lot to me; representing a respectable institution which I am a part of to the general public, especially to eager high school seniors in my own hometown, sharing how it feels like to study here and live amongst the multicultural environment in the dormitory where I found a new family far from home. I’m lucky to be here right now, on my way to be tomorrow’s leader, and I want my juniors to be able to have the same experience—something which I believe is achievable by being an ambassador for President University.…
