Rut Veterinary Hospital: A Case Study
The staff at Amherst Veterinary Hospital were very professional when speaking to their customers. I discovered that in order to be a vet you need strong communication skills and patience. In a serious work environment such as the vet office, customers may be stressed out because of their pet's health condition which is why it is important to deal with their issues in a calm matter. An example of this is when one of the cats has a mass removal done, the owner wanted the vet to call. After the procedure was completed, the vet waited an hour to call the owner because the cat was still asleep due to the medication still being in effect. Once the cat was awake, the vet phoned the owner. The owner began to shout at the vet because she didn't call

Patients expect their doctors to live up to the expectations to satisfy them. When I am being hospitalized, my personal expectations are respect, care, communication, courtesy, concern, and professionalism.…
