In a commercial transaction system, a system user uses a card device to interact with sales or transaction terminals to conduct cashless transactions. Each terminal processes data including a balance stored on the card device and updates the stored data at the end of the transaction. The system is specially designed for purchases of items or transactions of relatively small monetary value, where purchases are generated unattended by salespersons. In this manner, the amount of the transaction is deducted from the balance on the card device . In current days the petrol stations are operated manually. These petrol pumps are time consuming and require more manpower. To place petrol stations in distant area, it’s very costly to provide excellent facility and services to the consumers, all these problem are sorted out by the use of unmanned fuel pump which requires less time to operate and it is effective and can be installed anywhere (both remote ad non remote areas) within the customers locality . The services are done without the help of any fuel attendant and the payment is done by an electronic clearing system. These petrol stations are easily monitored with the video capturing and alarming system over the time by a central control unit. In addition, theft would be reduced. In the next section, some related works will be discussed.
2.1.UNMANNED PETROL PUMP (BY GAURAV BAJAJ, GAURAV KUMAR, ET AL, DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONIC & COMMUNICATION, PRANVEER SINGH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY) The following diagram below shows the block diagram, them implemented/used/work with.
In this work it was also observed that they added:
i) ATM (Automated Teller Machine), an automated teller machine (ATM) or automatic banking machine (ABM) is a computerized telecommunications device that provides the clients of a financial institution with access to financial transactions in a public space without the need for a cashier, human clerk or bank teller. ii) Vending Machine, An automated teller machine (ATM) or automatic banking machine (ABM) is a computerized telecommunications device that provides the clients of a financial institution with access to financial transactions in a public space without the need for a cashier, human clerk or bank teller. Then some of the components used which are categorized into two namely; hardware requirement and electronic component are listed under the respective parts. Hence for Hardware requirement we have: * Display: In this work the forms of displays used are touch screen monitor for the ATM services and LCD counters that reads the amount of fuel dispensed both in liters and currency.
* Card Reader (Optional): Double purpose integrated card reader which is capable to read and write both magnetic and smart cards. The card reader was not implemented in this project due unavailability.
* Printer (Optional): Dual purpose thermal printer with cutter which is used both for sales as well as promotion campaign receipts. Likewise the card reader the printer was not implemented due to difficulty to design. * Intelligent Meter: the intelligent meter helps equipment with hall effect sensor to communicate with site controller via RS 485 communication interface. * Proportional Valve: The new proportional valve provides more accurate deliveries than traditional double stage solenoid valves. * Coupling Connected Drive Mechanism: Pump-motor connection has been realized by means of a coupling. Through this coupling Connection system problems arising from pulley and belt system has been avoided and Security in service has been obtained. * Nozzle and Swivel: ¾ “Automatic Nozzle”, with a swivel allowing 360° movement for smooth operation and Prevention of hose fractures. * Submersible Pump: It was optional.
Also for electronic component we have:
* Rectifier 1N4007: Rectifier is a device which converts AC to DC. The rectifier used in this work is...
