The following paper is referring to Frank Stronach, a half Austrian and half Canadian businessman, and since recently also politician. He is the founder of Magna International, a supplier of automobiles with headquarters located in Canada. The reason I picked Frank Stronach for this essay is simple: I specifically was looking for a well-‐known Austrian businessperson, whom I would think of as a responsible global leader in the context of our course.
In the following, I will point out reasons and explanations to underpin why the person of interest should be considered as such. However, it should be mentioned that this essay is partly based on newspaper-‐ or online articles that I have read in the past, and narratives of a relative of mine who used to work for Magna in the financial department.
