EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
To reach the zenith alone, attempt is proved to be failure most of the times. Although today’s business practices have evolved out of the past but there are complex practices, which are followed. The business market place environment has become very dynamic and very fast changing.

In such a dynamic environment it is the need of our for an organization spec to reinvent and make its presence felt in the mind of the customers. Continuous research and knowledge gathering needs to be done in order to find out the customer preferences.

The present research study is a very small step in finding out the various likes and dislikes of water purifier users. Although the data collected was from a small sample but still it gives an idea that when it comes about technology driven products like water purifiers people always look for different options.

It is a challenge for water purifiers to withstand stiff competition present in the market. So it becomes necessary for a water purifier, to be in a constant touch with its present customers and try to expand them.

It can only be possible through continuous interaction and feedback through letters, emails or having telephonic conversation with the customers.

Although a number of measures have been taken by HUL still there are number of corrective measures that can be taken have been included in the project report.
