Research definition
Defined in simplest terms, research is searching for and gathering information, usually to answer a particular question or problem. Research projects of various types and complexity are an integral part of the college experience and offer you the opportunity to learn a valuable set of skills.
Research is defined as human activity based on intellectual application in the investigation of matter. The primary purpose for applied research is dicovering, interpreting and the development of methods and systems for the advancement of human knowledge on a wide variety of scientific matter of our world and the universe. Research means to a search for a knowledge. Research as a scientific & systematic search for information on a specific topic.
