This document is a proposal for designing a motorcycles breakdown system for expert system to user. This project is intended to be used by typically motorcycles riders who are interested in activities like computation, wherein data are access by the user without meets the expert people via web browser along with a single sign-on facility. This part is done as a part of fulfillment of the course IKS 3223 (EXPERT SYSTEM AND KNOWLEDGE ENGINEERING).
This portal enables rider (user) to gain information about how to fix their motorcycles without having misunderstanding between motorcycles user and mechanic. These portals are gives an advantage to all motorcycles riders to gain a new knowledge on how are their problem of motorcycles not need to meet an expert people.
2.1 The Scope
The scope of this project is to develop and implement a motorcycle breakdown system for gathering, classifying, and integrating the different problem that arise on motorcycles problems. The scope is generally on motorcycle on small cc (cubic capacity) like motorcycles. The scope also applies on all types vehicle from 70 cc to 150 cc.
There are many systems for classifying types of motorcycles, describing how the motorcycles are put to use, or the designers’ intent, or some combination of the two. Six main categories are widely recognized: cruiser, sport, touring, standard, dual-purpose, and dirt bike. Sometimes sport touring motorcycles are recognized as a seventh category. Strong lines are sometimes drawn between motorcycles and their smaller cousins, moped, scooters, and underbones. the meaning of motorcycles will describe below:-
Street motorcycles are motorcycles designed for being ridden on paved roads. They feature smooth tires with a light tread pattern and engines generally in the 125 cc (7.6 cu in) and over range. Most are capable of speeds up to 100 mph (160 km/h), and many of speeds in excess of 125 mph (201 km/h).
Cruisers are styled after American machines from the 1930s to the early 1960s, such as those made by Harley-Davidson,...
