There is no doubt that Romeo and Juliet is the one of the most famous tragedy play of William Shakespeare, the tragedy lover between the children of two household enemies. However, The show does not only show the young true love between Romeo and Juliet but also another kind of love, the love between the parents and their children. This analysis will focus on the relationship among Juliet, Lady Capulet and the nurse. Should the mother be the one who take care and be found closeness to their children? Though in nowadays society seems to give precedence to relationship between the mothers and their children, but It is not a good way to judge the play which were written in the view of 16th century society while putting 21st century glasses on, especially Juliet who find her nurse closer than her mother. In 16th century most of the upper class usually had the nurse to take care everything for their children. The children even drank from the nurse’s breast, not the mother’s. This is not unusual at that time, so Juliet was not distressed with it otherwise it was not mentioned in the play. However, Lady Capulet still play the important role that effect to Juliet. Lady Capulet becomes a mother at about Juliet’s age. (14 years old) She think that at this age Juliet is ready to get marriage and become a wife. Juliet is obedient. She even promises to consider and try to like Paris, before she have met Romeo. Juliet actually grows up with the care from the nurse. The nurse is the one who know all the details about Juliet. They trust each other and they are bonded together with a strong relationship. The nurse is the only one in Capulet that knows about Romeo and Juliet from the beginning.
