Reflection On Human And Social Services
The interest I have in human and social services derives from my desire to assist individuals in my community suffering from adverse effects. I believe in order to eliminate the stigmas associated with human and social services careers; one must proactively and collaboratively be engaged with the individuals utilizing services and colleagues. Collectively, this will encompass effective, efficient, and responsive forms of communication, as the persons in need of assistance possess diverse perspectives of adequate treatment. The populations that intend to assist are those suffering from mental illness and other adverse effects such as rehabilitationwhich inhibits their ability to function properly in society.
