After the completion of the Navitas Program in May, 2014, I will enter into the next term which is fall 2014 where I take my major to pursue my Master’s in computer science. I came to
Western Kentucky University to pursue my Master’s in computer science which is related to my major in my under graduation. But to some extent, as I failed to fulfill the requirements of the university, I came into the Navitas Program which is called Pre-Master’s program for graduates.
And it is the initial course which I was suggested to take by the university to enter into my major in graduate program.
The actual requirements to enter into my program according to university were one have to meet the required IELTS band score of 6.5 and should have a GRE score of nearly 280-290. Also continuation to these, one should have a good GPA which is a good academic excellence. As this is one of the top universities, one should fulfill the university requirements mandatorily.
According to me, I didn’t fulfill the requirements of the university and it is the reason why I have placed in Navitas in Pre- Master’s program for graduates.
My major is computer science which is one of the well reputed majors for graduates.
It has a good life in all over the world as in today’s life, Maximum of the works nearly
95% out of 100% is based and running only on the computers.
Actually COMPUTER is an acronym of “Commonly Operated Machine Particularly
Used in Trade, Education and Research.”
Because of all the above reasons, I was planned to take the computer science as my major both in my Graduation and in my under-graduation. Also, It is one of the developing field where the whole world is to work on the computers in the future.
In the WKU’s website, I searched about the program of computer science and I found a few interesting things about what the university provides and how this field is going to help in my future. Those
