After reading the chapters and doing research regarding the meaning of reared or raised. I do agree that children are reared or raised in early childhood education programs. Raise is defined a person taking care of a person until they are completely grown. Rear can be when a person can take care of a child until they are able to care for themselves. In the field of early childhood education program, raise/reared will take place since that are dealing with infants and kids up to ages of six. Children are being raising because the teacher is providing for them such as giving nutrition meals, education and shelter while they are in their care.
