What similarities do the earth, an island, and a life raft possess? All the objects in some aspect are 3 different isolated environments. The earth is isolated in space with no life in reachable means. An island is isolated from the mainland, and the life raft is isolated from any land at all. All three are isolated. All three rely on their resources. All of earths life is reliant on the sun, water, ecosystems, etc. The island is a scaled down version of the earth with the same necessities.
