The ending was not at all what I had expected even though, looking back now, it was heavily hinted towards in chapter 13 where Sam continuously talks about the cow thieves and tells Tim to get rid of them before they are stolen. To be honest I didn’t really like the ending, it was not what I would have expected or thought would happen. My real problem with the ending is that the mother (Tim and Sam's) gave up all hope, telling tim he might as well get himself killed too. I really just hated the ending because instead of wrapping the book up and tying it together it more or less caused chaos. With Sam being convicted a cow thief, being shot for it, and his mother giving up hope was, in my opinion,…

They are both easy to sympathize with because they are not so different from people, but they are different enough that they are rejected by people. They both admire normal people and long for their companionship. They are very lonely characters because they obviously do not fit it with other people. They wish they could be normal and join the others,…

The first similarity I found in these novels was the structure. There are the citizens of the” Real World” and the citizens of the “Utopian World” in which both parties exchange their wonder and amazement at each other’s life. Another similarity between these novels is that the authors are able to express their views on the main issues that the society back then were facing, whether it was social, political, or economical issues.…
