WHY INVOLVE IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES?
1. You get to explore your physical, creative, social, political, and career interests with like-minded people. You'll find friends: Trying something different may bring you in contact with people you didn't know who share your interests and curiosity.
2. Participating in extracurricular activities helps you in other ways, too: It looks good on college and job applications and shows admissions officers and employers you're well-rounded and responsible. Specific activities help with specific goals — if you want to teach language or get a bilingual job, being the president of the Spanish club shows the depth of your commitment.
3. The most basic reason for joining a club or team is that it gives you something better to do than staring at the wall, wandering the hall, or napping all afternoon. People who are involved and engaged are less likely to become addicted to bad habits, like smoking or drinking.

The extracurricular activity that had an influential impact on the plans for my future was the Future Farmers of America. While in this organization, I have received multiple experiences in operating in the greenhouse, commuting to a fish farm, memorizing facts about the organization. This organization started by giving me the opportunity to begin experiencing stuff outside of the normal classroom. This organization taught me to stand up for myself and it started teaching me that I can do anything I set my mind to, such as winning science fair to advance to the National Convention in Kentucky. In this organization that anything is possible if you put the effort into making it happen. I learned that the people help make the organization, but…

For my entire career, I have traveled far and wide, giving my opinion of the food at a variety of unique, cultural, and astonishing restaurants. Some of my reviews have been fantastic, others atrocious, but the John Adams Cafe Cafeteria was the finest culinary experience I have ever had. As I strolled into the enormous restaurant called the John Adams Cafe Cafeteria, I was immediately impressed. The modern style of the dining area gave an impression of luxury and royalty. A waiter instantly greeted me with a warming welcome, a massive smile on his face, and was jubilant to take my order. The walls were adorned with decorative paintings that probably cost a lot of money. The ceiling was decorated with gigantic golden chandeliers, and the dark wooden floor was superbly polished and cleaned. In the background, lovely jazz music was playing, making the establishment seem classy. I ordered my meal with quickly, and in just ten minutes my food was handed to me on a silver platter, and scooped onto a fancy plate, my drink and silverware off to the side on the polished wooden table. It was time to enjoy.…

The setting of this restaurant was great. I was impressed by the second we parked our car. Good thing about parking at this restaurant is that there is a huge parking lot and it is free! I appreciate parking that is closer to the entrance because it is hassle free, especially if the weather is bad and for ladies in heels. Once we were inside the atmosphere was very cozy and romantic. This restaurant has incredible lighting and the tables are not close to other tables. I hate it when I can hear others conversations and they can hear mine. Having decent space between tables somewhat eliminates this and gives more privacy. However, the tables are a bit too small for groups. I actually noticed group of friends/couples seated together and it looked like they lacked room on the table. The table was long enough, but it seemed a bit narrow.…
