Pros And Cons Of Recycling Of Gasoline Essay
Probably the most worrying threat to our planet at the present time is global warming. We burn fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas for energy or cut down and burn forests to create pastures and plantations and overloads our atmosphere. This leads to melting pole and changing season. Even though there are numerous ways to tackle the issue, but two stands out: reducing depending on gasoline and recycling. First solution is that we should diminish the amount of gasoline since gasoline is the most dangerous one. We have a choice to choose a hybrid car t reduces using gasoline. Besides, petrol price are increasing. If a person everyday drives to work they need to pump petrol after 3 days and causes carbon dioxide. Another way to reduce gasoline is take public transport or carpool to work. It can help reduce carbon dioxide and save cost. In order to reducing gasoline, we have to recycle our garbage. Recycle can reduce garbage such as plastic bags, bottles, papers or glass. For instance, when we buy foods, we can use our own containers instead of plastic bags. Another example is after finish drinking the water from the bottle; we can reuse it or use our own bottle. If all this is being reuse, human can reduce deforestation and help save environment. Besides, turn off electricity if unused. It can save thousands of carbon dioxide and buy product that have energy saving because it saves cost and save environment.

To sum up, all of these points to the fact that causing of global warming is people and people could replace the world if they stop to using of gasoline and starting recycle. If they do these solutions regularly, they can be gain positive result.

Each person can help conserve energy by walking, riding a bike or carpooling instead of individually driving to help control the pollution to our environment. We can recycle paper, plastic and glass. By doing this we are helping protect some of the trees that are being cut down to make paper. Plastic can be used to make other things and conserve some of the oil that is used to make them. Glass containers can be reused or recycled to make more glass containers. We also reduce consumption of energy resource by turning of lights, fans or televisions when they are not in use. By doing this we will also save money on our individual energy bills.…

By increasing the use of fossil fuels we are not only making this world running out of fossil fuels but also it has a negative impact on environment. Every drop of fossil fuel we use emits carbon dioxide in the environment. Increasing the amount of carbon dioxide in the environment is the cause of global warming, which is one of the major problem we are facing today. This global warming results in the climate change and due to climate changes so many species are endangered today. Instead of making ourselves more and more depended on these fossil fuels, we need to focus more on alternative energy resources. Instead of getting a huge big car we should prefer to buy a small hybrid car which gives good mileage. By doing this we will not only save fossil fuel and will save our environment as well. We live in highly industrialized country in the world. This country has a higher wastage rate than the other countries in the world. It has a little or no emphasis on pollution prevention, recycling, reuse, reduction of unnecessary waste and other form of conservation. Resource consumption and energy use is highest in the US than in any other country. US has 5% of the world population and its consumption is 30% of the world's natural resources. We need to focus on this human system in…

The atmosphere is choking from excessive amounts of carbon dioxide. Greenhouse gases are melting polar icecaps and rising sea levels. Deforestation is diminishing our chances of ever discovering new species in forests and destroying the carbon cycle. Humans do in fact have the capability of changing the basic chemistry of this massive planet. Scientific evidence shows that we have already contributed to irreversible climate change. Humankind has an obligation to reconcile its difference with the environment and learn to conserve natural resources. Conservation begins with knowledge, which leads to action, which will save our…

However, all that glitters isn’t gold. While in practicality gasoline engines do everything that we need them to do such as transport us around, they lack in one area. That area is their emission output. The gas that is the most prolific and the one that makes up more than 65 percent of global emissions is Carbon Dioxide. According to the United State Environmental Protection Agency, “Fossil fuel use is the primary source of CO2” (United State EPA). But why does this matter? Why is gasoline consumption a detrimental practice? Basically, CO2 and other greenhouse gases get trapped within the Earth's atmosphere. These gasses reflect the sun's rays many more times than usual which causes increased temperatures on Earth, hence the term global warming. These increased temperatures have many detrimental effect that are both short and long term. Current effects include: worldwide ice melt,…

Nonetheless, saving energy not only benefits the planet, but our ‘pockets’ as well. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, a simple task like replacing the light bulbs in your home can save up “75% energy of the 10% home energy costs.” Or simply unplugging electronics and appliances when not in use – a task made easier by using multiple-outlet strips, which can turn everything off with the flip of a switch – can save you money. For example, Leaving a computer on all day can cost about “21 cents per day, or about $75 per year” (U.S. Department of energy). Also, according to Goldemberg’s article “Energy for the New Millennium”, 78% of CO2 and 23% of methane is expelled from energy activities which are ultimately major contributors to indoor air pollution, urban air pollution, acidification and global…
