I had been undergone Institutional training over a period of one and half month in “INDOSHELL MOULD LIMITED” in COIMBATORE.
This project covers various departments and focuses on each and every department in order to gain knowledge about the manufacturing. There is also an annexure of a financial statement of the company, the organization chart, history of the company, various department of the company. The project is in consonance with the partial fulfillment of the degree requirement. The following are the specific objectives of Training Programme: * To study about the organization and management.

* To analyze various functions performed by the various departments in the company. * To secure practical knowledge regarding the Manufacturing, Finance, Accounting and Marketing aspects. * To get an industrial exposure

* To be aware of the happening in a particular industry
* To achieve knowledge about different sectors in market for making choice as to which go for. * To learn functioning and operations of different in an organization * To get knowledge about the working culture of the organization * To know about the business environment

* To know about the welfare activities provided by the company. This will help me to know about the current scenario of the corporate sector and their strategies which will be very useful during my future endeavors. The firm has been promoted by a team of well-experienced technocrats with engineering background. Their experience, expertise, professionalism, dynamism and quality conscious approach have been further enriched technical guidance from their overseas customers for past two decades.

Manufacturing industry refers to those industries which involve in the manufacturing and processing of items and indulge in either creation of new commodities or in value addition. The manufacturing industry accounts for a significant share of the industrial sector in developed countries. The final products can either serve as a finished good for sale to customers or as intermediate goods used in the production process. Establishments in the Manufacturing sector are often described as plants, factories, or mills and characteristically use power-driven machines and materials-handling equipment. However, establishments that transform materials or substances into new products by hand or in the worker's home and those engaged in selling to the general public products made on the same premises from which they are sold, such as bakeries, candy stores, and custom tailors, may also be included in this sector. Manufacturing establishments may process materials or may contract with other establishments to process their materials for them. Both types of establishments are included in manufacturing. The Manufacturing sector comprises establishments engaged in the mechanical, physical, or chemical transformation of materials, substances, or components into new products. EVOLUTION OF MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY:

Manufacturing industries came into being with the occurrence of technological and socio-economic transformations in the Western countries in the 18th-19th century. This was widely known as industrial revolution. It began in Britain and replaced the labor intensive textile production with mechanization and use of fuels. WORKING OF MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY:

Manufacturing industries are the chief wealth producing sectors of an economy. These industries use various technologies and methods widely known as manufacturing process management. Manufacturing industries are broadly categorized into engineering industries, construction industries, electronics industries, chemical industries, energy industries, textile industries, food and beverage industries, metalworking industries, plastic industries, transport and telecommunication industries.
