Pro Life Of Abortion Research Paper
Pro-Life or Pro-Murder
Abortion has been one of the most controversial topics in the United States. Teenpregnancy.org, a site managed by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, says that there are 750,000 teen pregnancies annually in America. Some of these pregnancies occur because either there was a rape, alcohol use, peer pressure, or because of television influence. All these cases make abortion hard to resolve, and make people to be on one side or the other of the issue according to what they have experienced, their faith, or what they have heard from people who have gone through an abortion. However, I cannot find an actual reason to kill a baby that makes sense. One example of a “good” reason why someone should have an abortion is if a girl was raped and left alone to raise a child. To those people they say the mother is too immature, irresponsible, and unprepared to have a child so she should have a choice not to have the baby. The baby would make the girl relive her rape every time she looked at he or she. They also say that a woman has the right to do whatever she wants to her body. If a girl gets pregnant and does not want the child then it is her choice to do go ahead and abort it. Another reason people that support abortion also say abortion is alright is because the fetus is not a fully developed and considered a living, human being until it is actually born. Women who have gone through with an abortion say that the reason why they did it was because the pregnancy was an accident. Most also claim that she was not ready or able to properly take care of a child. A reasonable response from many pro-life supporters is to carry the child to term and then give the baby up for adoption. Do not take a life just because you are “unprepared” or since it was …show more content…

Abortion is an on-going debate throughout the United States. Americans divide 50% as pro-choice and 44% on pro-life. (Saad, 2015) Majority of women side with pro-choice, and being a woman myself, I stand with pro-choice. I believe that it’s an individual’s right to decide what they’re doing to their bodies, and no one else should be allowed to deny them of said right. There are many different reasons as to why someone would get an abortion. Whether it be from results of rape, birth control failure, teen pregnancy, or whatever the case may be, every abortion is thought out and no option is an easy option.…

Abortion is defined as the destruction or termination of a fetus while still in the mother's womb. However, abortion is so much more then just the definition. There are consequences. There are two sides: pro-life and pro-choice. There is controversy over which is the correct way to go. Personally knowing people who have chosen opposite sides on this one particular topic makes it one that truly means a lot to me as a writer.…
