Political Model Of American Culture

The American political and economic model have impacted the world culture to a huge extend. Taking the first shoot at how the American political have impacted the world culture – either positively or negatively. American being the oldest independence country has demonstrated a high level of what is called “Democracy” to the extent that the word has become synonymous to American when speaking of politics.

Politically, the world culture is imitating the American political model – such as presidential term of tenure which in most in countries is 4 years same as American presidential term.

The image of the American political model is so much welcome globally such that the American president even have great deal of influence in the affair of other
American being most diversified culture comprising of Hispanic, Asian, African the list goes hand on. Hence, not only this has made American to be one of the highest import of goods and service but also the as one the biggest market for most countries developing and developed countries.

One good example of cultural challenges that have come out due to globalization is the way of marriage especially in the most sub-Saharan countries. In Liberia for instance, the way of marriage in most cases couples will always do two form of marriage – the traditional and the European wedding (most known as white wedding).

Generally, in Liberia, couples will prefer the European wedding than the Liberian traditional way of marriage. In a case where the couple don’t have enough but want to get marry so badly will do the traditional wedding and then in the future rise enough to do European wedding commonly known as “White Wedding”.
