1. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
Starting September 1, 2012, BSE Inc. will begin soliciting proposals from contractors for the new baseball field located at 1218 Alabama Avenue, Selma Alabama. “BSE Inc.”, Bolden’s Sports Entertainment Incorporation, is seeking proposals for the upcoming construction from potential contracting construction companies for the baseball practice field, parking lot areas and clubhouse.

1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK
BSE Inc. owns a semi pro baseball team from Sardis Alabama. BSE Inc. Has purchased 20 acres of land and plans to build a practice field, a clubhouse and a 50 space parking area. These facilities will be designed and built for use by the team players and coaches only, and will not require accommodations for spectators. The project goals include the general construction of a new baseball practice field with a secure turf and a field club house of 5,000 square feet that will include a game strategy planning room, lounge area, restrooms with showers, equipment storage area and a small parking lot for 50 standard size vehicle spaces, area landscaping, building storage area, utilities, and lighting of entire area which includes parking lot. The design plans with details of the field, building and parking lot along with utilities, mechanical, plumbing; electrical, lighting and landscaping layout are to be produced by the awarded contractor and with plans and drawings for the project site. A feasibility study shows water and sewer is readily available for construction taps and should be included on drawings. Note that spectator seating will NOT be required. A meeting will be set up with the head contractor to take a tour and view the prospective location for the practice baseball field. During this tour the contractor will be provided layouts and maps of the practice field, parking lot area and the clubhouse. During construction hours, Contractors should try to maintain a non-disturbance area in respect to the neighboring communities surrounded around the construction site. Upon completion the construction company will shall ensure that the construction site is clean and left in a decent order. 2. What Must Be Included with Bid
