Location:
The Philippines lies in Southeast Asia a little above the equation between Latitudes 4 23’N and 21 25’ and longitudes 116 E and 127 E. The northernmost islands are y’ami and Southernmost Islands in Saling Isle.

Typhoon and Earthquakes
Philippine within the Pacific basin where the most typhoons and earthquakes happen about 20 to 30 typhoon(strong winds and heavy rains) lash the country anusually, mostly from June to October.
In October 1978typhoon Kading left 444 people dead and 479 injured and destroyed property worth 1 billion.
The most horrible earthquake in the country happened on June 5 1863. It destroyed 47 building in Manila including the Manila Cathedral and the Government Place; private homes.
