Persuasive person
Persuasive writing- who has inspired you? (Essay)

Everyone in this world has someone that inspires them. They think that this specific person is inspirational and they look up to them. Everyone has an inspirational idol, celebrity, family member, friend, teacher (...Etc) no matter what. I personally have a lot of people that I look up to and think of as an inspirational person. But the two people who inspire me the most are my parents.
First of all, my mom is one of the two great people who inspire me. The reason I say this is because she is an independent strong beautiful woman. She has her flaws like everyone else but they’re hard to spot for me. She inspires me to be the best I can be and she believes that I can do anything if I try. She tells my brother and I that we will be successful if we educate ourselves well and importantly, if we want to. She inspires us to believe in ourselves and do the best we can. If I did not have my mother, it would have been hard because I wouldn’t have this perfect woman to teach me whether something is right or wrong. I can count on my mom and I will always look up to her and respect her. The love she has for me is impossible to explain in words and her love makes me want to love my future children the way she loves me. I think I will be able to because a mother’s love is just beautiful. She herself is a very confident, nice, smart, optimistic person, so that inspires me to be just like her. The way she is so different than other people is awesome.
Second of all, my dad is the other person of the two great people who inspire me. He taught me life is a struggle if you work hard with full dedication your success may be delayed but not denied. He always supports me and believes in me. His life was full of struggles but he never lost hope and finally he achieved success in his life. That inspires me the most and if I struggle to get through the struggles I will face in the future, I will be successful and happy. My dad is unique

I have been made aware of your plan to build a beneficial facility for young people in Chino Hills. Please read the following letter that will explain to you that building a youth activity center would be most beneficial to our wonderful city. Many may say that no one would come to the James Larson Youth Activity Center because of its membership fees, but any child who cannot afford the fee because financial problems in their family can submit their information and will be able to attend the facility. All the membership fees collected from the facility will go towards the facility itself, and to pay for certified workers. A few reasons the youth activity center should be built are, the center will be a great place for students to get tutored afterschool, in the long run, improving their state-standardized testing scores, building the James Larson Youth Activity center will also be a great place for youth to get involved in their community, volunteering all around the Chino/Chino Hills area, and finally, the James Larson Youth Activity Center will have many facilities and a variety of activities for youth to participate in, preventing them otherwise spending their time elsewhere, getting into trouble.…

Every year, in the early morning hours of the day after Thanksgiving, a ritual occurs where millions of shoppers gather impatiently outside stores, trying to take advantage of special deals. Some camp out for days in the November cold in the hope of buying a new item. When the doors finally swing open to deliver them from the morning chill, people swarm in like a cloud of flies, jumping on discounted items, and the chaos begins. Crowds of people scramble for the gifts they want. People are shoved and pushed aside. Fights break out. Any resemblance of organized “society” breaks down as people throw themselves at the only Hello Kitty branded sofa remaining. This madness is Black Friday.…

Millions of people, both men and women, undergo plastic surgery every year. While some plastic surgery is done for medical reasons, such as reconstruction after an accident, many other procedures are voluntary. People see a flaw and feel the need to fix it. Whether their breasts are too small, their nose is too big, or their stomach isn’t flat enough, plastic surgery can fix it. So the big question remains, is plastic surgery a way to promote beauty or destroy? I believe the benefits of plastic surgery are huge. If someone, after weighting the pros and cons, makes the decision to have plastic surgery, they should be able to make that decision with confidence and not have to worry about society judging them.…
