Personal Narrative: My Mom The Ambassador
My Mom the Ambassador
For the ambassador of the year nomination, I would like to nominate my mom, Hayme A. I would like to nominate this person, because she shows all things an ambassador should have. She is a representative, an advocate, a forgiving person, and a leader.
Hayme is a representative, because she stands up for more than what she and your family believes in. She chooses to stand up for ideas with the intention to improve the culture around them. For example, she makes donations to Goodwill every month. Hayme does this because she believes that everyone one man's trash is another man’s treasure.
“If the money we donate helps one child or can ease the pain of one parent, those funds are well spent.” -Carl Karcher
Hayme is an advocate,

My mom also has a backup plan. She sacrifices her thing for others One time when my family and I were going on a road trip and my dad forgot to charge the GPS, so it died when we were on the road. Hayme had a backup plan, which was to use her phone as a GPS instead. My mom didn’t get to go on her phone the whole trip as she had planned but wasn't mad.
Hayme has a positive attitude about everything. My mom always tries to make me feel happy when I am feeling melancholy. She always thinks of the glass being half full, and not half empty. Hayme always finds good out of everything.
“ Being positive in a negative situation is not native. It is leadership.” - Ralph Marston
Hayme is forgiving. My mom doesn't hold grudges for long. She gives everyone second chances maybe even a third no matter how bad the first chance was. My mom always forgives me no matter what I have done wrong.
“Forgiveness is not for the weak. Begging able to forgive those who have wronged you is a mark is spiritual strength and confidence. When you forgive, you grow. Your heart begins to heal, you back straightens up, your eyes clear so that you can see the road ahead. Anger is spiritual sicknesses; but when you forgive, you live.” -Wale

My Mom is my role model. I guess this is due to the fact that I used to scarcely see my Dad because he comes home really late; he still does, though not as late, while my Mother took care of me ever since she quit the job as the General Manager when I was in 2nd grade. She is the one who is there for me whenever I have a problem, like a robot on standby, but she is also a harsh whip with her discipline though she never hit me. My most notable memory of my Mom is when I sucked at math in 3rd grade. I don't know how to do a problem so naturally, I asked her. However, after she taught the same problem 4 times, I still didn't get it. I was afraid she would get mad, but she didn't and in the end when I finally got it, I asked her why she is so patient. She simply replied "practice makes perfect", an old…

We can see that Miss Havisham cannot talk and communicate properly she can only communicate properly in her dreams only there can she be “fluent” but only in kissing which shows she only “talks” love. The enjambment of “love’s… hate” shows how easily love can change into hatred. The red balloon bursting shows her heart break. Red has traditionally been associated with courage and love in Western culture, but in China, red is the colour of happiness and good fortune. The RED balloon bursting shows her loving dieing and her good fortune dieing. The balloon can also symbolise her love leavening her flying away like a balloon fly’s away to the sky. Carol Ann Duffy uses the word “bang” as personification to make us visualise all he love dieing away…

I am not a person that forgive, and this book honestly helped me out think about to forgiveness the people that hurt me during time. She also, brought the reason that forgiving the person you don’t need you reunite and become friends. Pain and wrongful pains are two important terms that come with forgiveness. Wrongful pain is something you don’t expect to come. For example if your friend goes against your trust and tells someone something you told them not to say, that’s wrongful pain because you did not see that…

My mom is my hero because she is strong, smart, funny, and most of all tolerant. those features help my mom in many ways in the world of parenting. When it says strong it doesn't mean muscle but it's more bravery to help people and her children with no fear. She is also smart and knows what to when in tough situations and/or times. A more not serious feature is her sense of humor,it may not help her very much but it helps when we are feeling down and helps make friends. Her last but most…

This trait, is the last in the order of writing, but not in importance, for that is a fact that I will not counteract. The trait my mom possesses that I find to be her best, is the fact that she always has had the unconditional love that I think all heroes must possess. No matter whats done, said or expressed she will be there with a love that always forgives, and never fades away. The only way her love ever changes is the fact that it grows stronger…

    I Believe in Forgiveness

I never really understood the meaning of forgiveness. When people hurt me or treat me badly I always thought the best way to handle it is to hold it in. I never showed anger on the outside but just kept it all in. Instead, I let it boil inside of me. My kind act toward those who hurt me was a shield from my pain. Most of my kind act was at my mother. I blamed my birth mother for every relationship I have ever been in that ended with my hurting the guy or me thinking I am just going to be like my mother and leave him for the next person. Over the years, her actions and mishaps became the victim for my own actions. The fact that I have not yet become a divorcee like her was justification for her being irresponsible, dishonest, and ungrateful. Throughout the years of struggle, dysfunctional relationships, and little to no relationship, I hardly took responsibility for anything that I had done. I laid all my relationship troubles on my birth mother. I call her my birth mother because I never grew up with her but I have met her from time to time. She gave me to my dad when I was seven years old because of another man. I blame my relationship trouble on her because she never had a solid relationship for me to learn from. She…

All throughout my childhood I have been closer to my mom than I am to my father. She has been an amazing friend to me, but an even better parental figure. Laying down the rules for me and establishing boundaries when needed. It is because of the love and respect I have for my mother that I am now cautious of the choices I make. I cherish her approval and fear her disappointment in me. I feel confident that all the life lessons she has taught me and the advice she has given me, will continue to shape my standards and values in life.…

Every morning, I would feel irritated with my house being too loud and too noisy as the sounds of the pans and pots from the kitchen would echo in my ears, causing me to wake up. My mother never forgets to prepare breakfast for me despite leaving for work at dawn and returns home at dusk. When I feel thirsty while I am at school, there is always a full bottle of water inside of my backpack to keep me feeling hydrated. During the times I struggled with homework, my mother would encourage to do my best, support me, and try to help in as many ways as possible even if she did not understand the materials I was learning. My mother, who plays a vital and significant role as my motivation and inspiration, is someone I strive to emulate. I have noticed many of her…
